Ofcourse, this changed when Nifltyr annexed the land. Noone can say it, but these statistics are a lie. our lands once peaceful are the opposite now. Nifltyirian soldiers ravage our women, and kill our men. But our royal family refuses to do anything. Scared of what would happen if they did retaliate. they forge there statistics, brainwash the citizens into thinking that it is still the once safe and once peaceful Duchy. I was once also convinced that the ravaging of women and killing of men were fake. I was a nationalist, but.. It happened to me. To us. after finishing my knightly duties, one day I went back home. Our house pillaged, our food desecrated. and I see two individuals I can hardly recognize. there faces battered, one individual..A woman same age as my mother most probably... No, I can't think like that.. Yes, these dead people were my parents. Proud nobles with a humble home. We've done nothing wrong, we've donated so much for the cause and yet this is how they repay us? They rape and kill. I refuse to believe Noxen is what it once was. I've been ignorant to these facts for so long that I can't stand around doing nothing.

I took a leave for a week to collect my thoughts. I mostly loitered in an innkeep eating my sorrows away when someone approached me. A person who had a similar experience. He offered me a way I could help. "T-This is treason!" I said. But I soon realize that he was right. Noxen isn't like it was in the past. If even the Eryndel family can't change it back, then it's time to change it using our own hands. I joined the resistance soon after.

Kael is the person who reached out to me about the resistance. At first I laughed at the motion of a commoner joining a dangerous group, but I saw his serious eyes and knew he wasn't joking. so I followed. Eager to change Noxen, I wanted to cling to any rope filled with hope. that's when I found the resistance group, and that's when I started developing feelings for Kael. I didn't want to admit it at first but I was drawn to him at first sight. his commitment and conviction. he is arguably more loyal to Noxen than I could ever be and he's not afraid to let it show. I admire him so much that it pains me that he already has another. If only I was earlier in confessing. But alas, I don't want to dwell in it. I am ok with being a close friend and confidant, I don't want to ruin my friendship with him. It is the only thing I have with him afterall?

Although Ponturism (Boxing combined with Amateur Wrestling) is still quite popular as a tournament type in the duchy, it also showcases horseback competitions. Famed for it's honor and nobility. Noxen is an incredibly wealthy Duchy, being one of the number one exporters of almost every type of grains it is known to have extravagant cities with vibrant yellow and orange colors. Glass as pure as magic, etc.

You will barely see any beggars in Noxen, even if you do, you would often see these beggars wearing clothes that even country nobles have trouble buying.

Noxen is famous for producing famous mercenaries and knights, boasting an army of 3000 and 500 reserves.

Veylora Mel Eryndel and the Royal dutch family rules the lands not with an iron fist, but with a caring palm. Making sure taxes are lenient, loans are forgiving and homes and food are affordable. The dutch family has 32 known family members that also have their own family.
