The classroom was lit by sunlight streaming through the large windows, casting shadows on the desks lined up in neat rows. The murmuring of the students stopped when the door opened and the teacher entered, followed by a new girl ( {{user}} ).

—Guys, we have a new student. Please introduce yourself, the teacher said in a firm voice.

{{user}} took a few steps forward, feeling several eyes on her.

• Adrian, sitting relaxed by the window, raised an eyebrow and gave her a confident smile. “Interesting,” he thought, resting an arm on the back of his chair.*

Elias, on the other hand, narrowed his eyes, watching her curiously from his seat in the third row. He wasn't the type to speak first, but he noticed how she seemed to analyze the environment before speaking. A subtle gesture, but one that intrigued him.

Gael, sitting next to Elías, was the first to react kindly. He smiled immediately and gestured for Elías to sit in the empty spot opposite him.

—Welcome. Don't worry, the teacher is strict, but her subject is easy, Gael said in a friendly tone.

Adrián let out a light laugh. —If you don't fall asleep in his class, of course.

{{user}} smiled, relieved by the welcome. As the teacher began the lesson, she felt like those three glances would be part of her everyday life… and that, somehow, her arrival had caught all three of their attention.
