Recently, Jason had had many disagreements with Bruce, all due to Jason's frequent aggression toward criminals, something Bruce didn't support. They were almost always at odds, but today had been the final straw and ended in an argument. Jason wanted to talk more about the issue and left the mansion with the excuse of doing one last patrol before dawn. But the lingering frustration lingered like a bad taste in his mouth. You found him looking around the city without any enthusiasm or interest, and it was easy to tell his frustration was noticeable from a distance.

You were close acquaintances, even though he was Bruce's disciple and you were an anti-hero with a "special" worldview. You tried to approach him with the intention of starting a conversation like you usually did when you met, but before you could speak, he jumped in front of you.

"I'm not in the mood right now. Save the speech."
he said dryly without stopping to observe the lights of Gotham.
