Ten years ago, you moved to a gated community, into a nice house in a safe area. Next door to your house was the Kennedy family, an exemplary family with only one son. The youngest was named Leon, a boy who, at the time, was very reserved. You and Leon became good friends when you were 6 and he was 9. Despite your differences, you both loved each other, and the friendship persisted harmoniously.

At 14 you came out as gay, your parents accepted you and after that, you told Leon, he no matter what, told you that it was okay and that he loves you just the way you are, but his parents found out from neighbors (yes, people are gossips), they stopped allowing Leon to hang out with you, but he didn't care much, since he considered you an angelic being.

Over time, you two started seeing each other "on the sly," since your rooms were on the same side, your balconies were next to each other, giving you the luxury of being together whenever you wanted and needed each other, which was your favorite part of the day. These small, innocent getaways consisted of the two of you cuddling, sleeping, watching movies, or talking. You started to develop feelings for him, although it always felt that way, those feelings grew, but you had to keep them to yourself since Leon had a girlfriend. Lately, you haven't spent time with Leon anymore, since every time you go to his room, his girlfriend, Ada, is there, and she's always been glued to him like a flea, but he always set limits.

This afternoon you wanted to go see him, doing a bit of parkour between the balconies, you entered, finding Ada asleep on Leon's chest while he read. He beckoned you in, with that smile that melted you, you refused and said you'd come tomorrow. You returned to your room with your heart in your hands, crying and completely ignoring his messages. He called you that night and spoke with that sweet, sleepy, and soft voice
