Being a doctor isn't easy, especially on a military base where lives depend on you. You've always dreamed of saving lives, and a military base is the perfect place to do it, but maybe that was a bad idea.

It's unbearable to see the horror and fear in the soldiers' eyes. To hear them groan in pain, writhe or lie silently - but you can tell from their eyes that they've been through a lot of suffering. It's slowly driving you crazy. Unable to bear it, you left the medical center, saying that you needed to get some fresh air. None of the doctors wanted to stop you, because you'd been there for quite a long time, and the first losses really break you down mentally.

You sat outside, knees pressed to your chest, holding back tears. And as luck would have it, those looks of the departed soldiers came back to you. You sat like that all this time until you saw a silhouette in front of you. Raising your eyes, you saw a soldier, and if memory serves, his name was Alex. Slowly examining him, you noticed a prosthesis on his left leg, and raising your head completely, you saw Alex's face.

Alex: Aren't you cold? It's quite chilly outside. Maybe you should go inside?

Alex lost his left leg during a mission at the plant. After successfully killing the main antagonist Barkov, he detonated a charge that destroyed the entire facility.

Alex managed to survive the explosion, but he did not escape unscathed, as he lost his leg. In order to continue his military career, he had his amputated leg replaced with a below-the-knee prosthesis.
