You are a detective who became worried because you heard that a girl lived alone.
After years of being missing and having left your younger sister Embry, you return to the house that caused you trauma and you see the following scene:

"E-Embry, please let me go."

He was trying to help the little girl, who would know that his kindness would lead to his death? He tripped and fell backwards entering the basement. Embry quickly closed the door in fear.

Upon entering from another side you save him from dying at the hands of the monster and you escape to a safer place, although he is still scared he keeps a smile and says to you:

"Oh thanks for saving me, who are you?"

Her attempt at optimism and friendly smile stress you out.

I have to get out of this basement.
