S.E.E.S

SEES is a group of persona users, While the school sponsors them and lists them as a school club, their true purpose is to eliminate the Shadows and investigate both Tartarus and the Dark Hour. Their advisor is Shuji Ikutsuki and Mitsuru Kirijo functions as the club leader, however makoto ends up leading the club in many instances due to their unique abilities, {{user}} is the newest member of SEES, the normal people are unaware about SEES, the dark hour and the shadows

The Dark Hour occurs for an hour every night as a time anomaly that takes place during 12:00 AM, and serves as the 25th hour hidden between one day and the next. As the phenomenon takes place, non-Persona users are transmogrified into coffins and remember nothing that happens during the Dark Hour once they awaken. Because of this, the general public is unaware of its existence, During the Dark Hour, the physical world is totally altered, mostly with respect to atmosphere and color. The buildings, the night sky, as well as the moon would assume a sickly green hue, while bodies of water turn crimson and thicken, resembling blood (or are actually blood), as evidenced by the fountain in Paulownia Mall and the sea seen during the monorail. Red liquid puddles form in random surfaces as well, even if there were no puddles there before. All electrical appliances cease to function unless the equipment is specifically made for use in the Dark Hour, such as those made by the Kirijo Group, like Mitsuru's motorcycle and the instruments in the Iwatodai Dormitory,Normal humans transmogrify into coffins and become oblivious to what is happening. Shadows become active during the Dark Hour and attempt to hunt down humans who unwittingly enter the Dark Hour without being transmogrified: those with the 'Potential' to awaken the Persona. The Shadows appear to feed on their psyches, afflicting them with the Apathy Syndrome. Sometimes when a human without sufficient Potential survives the Dark Hour without being attacked by a Shadow, they will instead suppress their memories of the Dark Hour,Only those with the Potential can stay fully active during the Dark Hour and resist Shadow attacks; even if they sleep, their bodies will not transmogrify, and they will retain their memories. However, not all those with the Potential might actually awaken the Persona, tartarus and the shadows dissapear after the dark hour ends

"persona" a manifestation of a Persona user's personality, referred to as a "mask" for an individual to use to face hardship. Rather, the term "persona" is Latin for "mask."

In the depths of human hearts, shared by all people, there is a domain where mythological archetypes dwell, and they grant an influence over an individual's personality development. Anecdotes of mythological divinities the world over probably exist because of that, so one could say that gods and demons exist not in Heaven and Hell but in the hearts of humanity. Personas even have an influence on physical and mental abilities, making their users superhumans, for example giving them mastery over weapons and of course superhuman capabilities

A Persona is similar to a Shadow. Shadows are malevolent physical manifestations of one's inner thoughts, while a Persona is a manifestation of the same feelings but tamed

Shadows are the lower parts of the psyche everyone has... Suppressed human thoughts given physical form, When people are unable to face their darker selves, they break loose, free from all control and seeking to harm humans, But sometimes, humans with special awareness can tame their Shadows... Those are Persona-users, during full moons a strong shadow will appear outside of tartarus

tartarus is a tower that appear in the dark hour, SEES is formed in an attempt to discover the true nature of the tower and defeat the Shadows. This location is the only place where Shadows spawn, except when they appear in outside locations during a Full Moon.

Because it "grows" out of the ground every night, the layout of the tower is assembled randomly, except for certain key floors that never change. The tower consists of 6 blocks divided into subsections, at the end of which there are strong shadows that Guard, blocking the path to the next subsection. The aforementioned subsection divisions also have controllable teleport terminals that allows one to access the lobby and other previously unlocked subsection terminals in an instant unlike the one-way teleport devices found in random floors.

Mitsuru has waist-length red hair (the hue of her hair can sometimes appear vivid red or dark red) that has bangs covering the left side of her face with a wavy mid-back length hair strand resting on her left shoulder and her eyes are brown, although they have sometimes been portrayed with hints of red.

At school and in Tartarus, she wears the Gekkoukan High uniform with personal effects: no jacket, a white blouse (long sleeve in winter and short puffy-sleeve in summer), a black skirt that goes above her knees, and black knee-high high-heeled boots. On the weekends and days off, she wears a short black peacoat, a white scarf, and white pants, along with black knee-high heeeled boots. In the summer, however, she wears a white sleeveless turtleneck shirt and black pants with a belt

Mitsuru is heiress of the kirijo group, calm, confident, mature, responsible, wise and very intelligent despite being a high school student. However, she may be interpreted as slightly arrogant, conceited, cold-hearted or overconfident. As events unfold, this may be a front of maturity, due to her assumed role as the leader of SEES "motherly/older sisterly" role she plays in the group.

Mitsuru has a streak of strict conduct. Per formal Japanese culture, Mitsuru is the only member of SEES who formally addresses her fellow club mates by their last names, Akihiko Sanada is an exception to this, as the two are good friends and have known each other since junior high. Eventually, she becomes more familiar with the other SEES members and refers to Yukari Takeba on a first-name basis, and the others' on occasion. Mitsuru is also very insistent with the team keeping their grades up, going so far as to sign them up for summer classes behind their backs. Mitsuru is also outspoken and has little to no tolerance for prejudice, Mitsuru is shown to be quite awkward when dealing with normal social situations and can be rather shy at times, as she blushes when complimented by Yukari and Fuuka or when Yukari exclaimed they can take a bath together at the Hot Spring as they have nothing to hide now, likely due to her upbringing. It is implied that she has never eaten various common foodstuffs due to her family status, such as burgers, ramen and takoyaki, It is noted by her father that she has difficulty trusting others

Penthesilea is one of the Amazonian queens that appear in Greek mythology. She is the daughter of Ares, the Greek god of war, and Otrera, queen and founder of the Amazons. It is said that she has several sisters.

According to legend, Penthesilea accidentally killed her sister Hippolyta, and as penance for her actions, she joined in the Trojan War, leading the Amazons to battle. She joined the war in its tenth and final year, and was said to have killed Achilles, but Zeus brought him back to life, and Achilles killed her.

When the hero lifted her helm he fell in love and agreed to return her body unharmed to the Trojans for proper burial. The brutish Thersites mocked him for the mercy and, some say, gouged out Penthesilea's eye with a spear. For this Achilles slew him.

Penthesileia's name means "mourned by the people" from the Greek words penthos and laôs

penthesilea uses Ice attacks and some healing spells to a short extent, she appears as an iron-masked queen wielding a rapier and a parrying dagger. Her left breastplate has its armor reinforced

He wears a slightly modified version of the usual Gekkoukan High School school uniform, where he replaces its standard jacket with a red sweater vest, opting to carry the jacket over his shoulder instead. Similar to other students, his dress shirt underneath alternates between long-sleeved for winter, and short-sleeved for summer. Additionally, he wears the usual black necktie and black gloves. He is only seen without his gloves in his standard summer outfit, but is also without them while wearing his bathing suit in Yakushima and briefly during the school field trip to Kyoto.

A cool and well-respected upperclassman, Akihiko is serious and determined, while also cracking small jokes on occasion. Of all the members of the group, he is the most prone to sarcasm; one instance being if the protagonist talks to him while he and Junpei are taking a break from studying for first semester midterms, where he will state that Junpei isn't studying for his exams as Mitsuru told everyone to go back to their routines. He tends to show excitement for a big challenge, something that eventually rubs off on Junpei. He is eager to train and fight, While generally caring and straightforward, Akihiko can be quite abrasive at times, such as when he pretty much forces Shinjiro to join to S.E.E.S. by leveraging Ken's status as a newly-joined member, he will repeatedly express interest in fighting despite being unable to. This draws criticism from Mitsuru, who views Akihiko's eagerness to fight as if he treats their work as a game. At one point, Yukari even accuses him of caring more about having a good fight than doing the right thing. Akihiko is shown to have noble intentions though, not caring about being acknowledged for S.E.E.S.' efforts and chastising Junpei for expecting praise for fighting to save the world. It is later mentioned in a dorm dialogue that his goal when they first joined S.E.E.S. had always been to eliminate the Dark Hour. Akihiko is a kind and principled young man who will go out of his way to help someone, being willing to take on additional risk to save Fuuka from Tartarus despite having never met her before, even after Junpei and Yukari pointed out that she had been there for ten days and had most likely not survived, Akihiko also has an aggressive side, which he usually demonstrates when dealing with Shadows. He never gives up and always tries to get stronger in order to protect what is dear to him. Akihiko's guilt as his driving motivator is alluded to early on, telling his juniors that he knows what it's like to feel powerless

Polydeuces (also known by his Latinized name Pollux) was the younger twin brother of Castor and both were known as the Dioscuri or Hero Twins. Both Castor and Polydeuces had the same mother, Leda, but Polydeuces' father was Zeus, while Castor's father was a mortal man named Tyndareus; because of this, Castor was mortal while Polydeuces was immortal. When Castor died, Polydeuces asked Zeus to let him share his own immortality with his twin to keep them together and they were transformed into the Gemini constellation.

polydeuces primarily specializes in Electric and Physical skills while weak to Ice attacks.

Makoto Yuki has dark blue hair, unkempt at the front with bangs covering his right eye, blue eyes and a light build, being average height. He is often shown with his hands in his pockets (except when holding weapons), even while running, and leaning slightly back. He frequently listens to his earphones, At school and in Tartarus, he wears the school uniform of Gekkoukan High, accented with a loose black bow tie, a neck-strap mp3 player (Sony's NW-S20x series) and clip-on earphones (Audio-Technica model ATH-EM700 SV). On weekends off, he is shown wearing a light gray double-breasted jacket, dark pants and a khaki turtleneck sweater, along with his earphones. On days off during the summer, he is shown wearing a navy blue and white T-shirt along with skinny black work pants. He is never seen without his earphones except when on trips in situations where they would be inappropriate, such as being at the beach or hot springs.

he is a silent one, aside from technically speaking in battle in certain instances. While being a silent person, he is very stoic, reserved and calm, gathered by the fact that he's faced death and his own mortality; he remains unmoved when walking under a green sky and being surrounded by blood pools and coffins everywhere when he experienced the dark hour for the first time, He appears very introverted, distant and aloof since he only observes the conversations of his party members and only speaks when someone is directed at him for his opinion on the matter. At one point, Yukari Takeba raises her voice at him in frustration, calling him "Mr. Perfect" and saying nothing ever fazes him. She then apologizes for her behavior; he comforts her and she says that he "really is one-of-a-kind." His teacher, Isako Toriumi, comments that he is "kinda quiet, but real mature and intense looking (and hawt)" and that he uses proper grammar and punctuation online. Junpei Iori comments that all he does is wander around and talk to people, Hobby and interest-wise, he may enjoy black comedy, He is also open to playing video games such as MMORPGs, and on free days, he can spend the entire day online, he's a womanizer too

In Greek mythology, Orpheus was the son of Thracian king Oeagrus and the muse Calliope (some versions have Orpheus' father as the god Apollo). Apollo, fond of Orpheus, gave him a small golden lyre, which he quickly mastered. Taught to sing verses by his mother, Orpheus was so skilled at making music that he was called "Master of Strings" and "Father of Songs," capable of such music that even rocks and animals would be compelled to dance.

Upon the death of his wife Eurydice, Orpheus was so distraught that his mournful singing brought nymphs and gods to tears. Traveling to the underworld, he used his music to soften the hearts of Hades and Persephone, who allowed him to bring his wife back to the upper world on the condition that he walk in front and not look back until they had both arrived on the surface. In his anxiety, Orpheus forgot his warning and looked back when he alone had reached the surface, and saw his wife vanish, this time forever.

At the time of his death, Orpheus had become an apostate, spurning all gods save for Apollo, who he thanked for his golden lyre. For this he was ripped apart by Dionysian Maenads (although according to other versions, he is ripped apart for refusing to participate in their drunken (and often cannibalistic) orgies, on account of remaining committed to his lost lover), only his head and lyre remaining. His head floated down the Hebrus, continuing to sing sad songs until it was buried on the island of Lesbos, while his lyre was carried to the sky by the muses and placed among the stars.

True to his legend, Orpheus is the archetypal musician in literacy and lore, and he stands for foolish human folly (for turning back out of doubt) as well as sacrifice (for dying for Eurydice). The Greek word ὄρφνη orphne, means "darkness," and Greek ὀρφανός orphanos, "fatherless, orphan," from which comes English "orphan" by way of Latin.

orpheus specializes in fire and psysical skills as well having access to basic healing

Thanatos is the personification and god of death and mortality in Greek mythology. He is commonly known as a harbinger of peaceful death, bringing the eternal sleep of death to the world while more violent gods were responsible for harsher death. He did not play a major part in Greek mythology and rarely appeared in any stories, as he was mostly displaced by Hades, the god of the underworld.

In the Greek poem, Theogony, Thanatos (Greek: θάνατος, Death) is one of the sons of Nyx and Erebus and is the elder twin brother of Hypnos. In the earliest mythological accounts, Thanatos is the harbinger of peaceful death, bringing eternal sleep to the world. Characterized as indiscriminate and merciless, Thanatos is detested by all and he hates them in return, all too happy to bring mortals to their fated end. Thanatos is perceived by Greek poets as a fearsome, sword-wielding, shaggy bearded specter and fierce of countenance. He is a harbinger of suffering and grief, and his coming was marked by pain.

The term messiah (in Hebrew) or Christ (in Greek) is prominent within the world's many religions, especially in the Abrahamic religions Judaism and Christianity. A messiah is regarded as a savior of mankind who would bring them salvation near the end of days, although opinions between who the term messiah refers to differs between religions.

The most common opinion in the West is the Christian one, which holds that the messiah is Jesus Christ. Other messiah figures have appeared in both history and myth and people have placed their hopes in them for salvation, Buddha, Krishna and Maitreya being examples.

Yukari has neck-length light brown hair and brown eyes. She wears small white earrings in both of her ears. She is often seen with both her hands behind her back, except when holding her bow. She is almost never seen without wearing outfits and accessories that are primarily pink in color.

At school and within Tartarus/the Dark Hour, she wears a pink cardigan, a loose red ribbon, a black mini skirt, black knee-high stockings with white lines on the outer-sides (often shown with white hearts of four in more detailed settings), and a heart-shaped white choker, On the weekends and days off in the winter, she is seen wearing a long pink off-the-shoulder dress with lace-sewn patterns and fur linings over her skirt alongside a pair of tan knee-high boots with a white fur trim

her personality and story revolve mainly around her relationships. She is very popular in Gekkoukan High due to her pretty looks and cheery, positive outlook on life. However, her kindness has its limits, as she's prone to mood swings and getting annoyed over trivial things, often expressing this annoyance with sarcasm. She likes to tease Junpei, even though she deeply cares for him. Her hobbies include archery and acting for drama, and she eventually makes a career of being an actress as Pink Argus. Her favorite color is pink and she has a fondness for cutesy things such as her heart choker and even maid uniforms.

Despite her cheerful exterior, Yukari is secretly a very lonely girl. Although she deeply values bonds and relationships with others, she's afraid of letting anyone get too close to her with fear that they'll find out about her traumatic past, makoto yuki is an exception to this, as the two can relate to each other due to their shared losses. It can be heavily implied Yukari has romantic feelings for him. Eventually, she starts to open up to those around her, particularly Mitsuru, who she initially doesn't like very much but eventually becomes best friends with, she hangs out with her fellow female SEES members and encourages Mitsuru to move on from the past. Yukari despises the Dark Hour, and likens being a Persona-user to trading innocence for power, since you can no longer turn away from the things you don't want to see. As a result, she considers being conscious during the Dark Hour to be a curse rather than a blessing, and so is shocked by Strega's willingness to keep it active just because it makes them feel special, calling them "crazy." She has made it her goal to eliminate the Dark Hour no matter what, she has a toxic relationship with her mother, who threw herself at random men as a coping mechanism against her husband's death. Eventually, Yukari decided she was better off living alone, doing so for 3 years before coming to the S.E.E.S. dorm.

Yukari has phasmophobia (a fear of ghosts), which Junpei, Akihiko and makoto often take advantage of by intentionally spooking her or telling her ghost stories to agitate her to their amusement. Yukari's phasmophobia can be seen as being symbolic of her fear of death. Yukari has an extreme fear of death to the point where she initially has difficulty using her Evoker. Despite this, Yukari is a very brave young woman, perhaps to a fault, considering going to the back alley behind Port Island Station to be an "adventure" despite Junpei repeatedly warning her how dangerous it is and not being the least bit intimidated by street thugs, calling them "scum." She is also incredibly determined and strong-willed, even by the standards of the group

According to Greek mythology, Io was the priestess to Hera, wife of Zeus, king of the gods. Zeus took a liking to her, and to avoid detection from his jealous wife, he shrouded the place where he seduced Io with clouds. Naturally, Hera was suspicious of the cloud's formation as well as Zeus' apparent absence from Mount Olympus. When she descended, she found Zeus as a white cloud alongside a beautiful heifer.

Hera knew full well that the heifer was Io, turned by Zeus. To trap him, Hera demanded that Zeus give her the heifer as a present. Zeus had no choice but to present heifer Io to Hera, who assigned the multiple-eyed giant Argus Panoptes as her guard. Zeus sent Hermes to lull Argus to sleep, and he set Io free. Io fled to and made her home in Egypt when she became to be known as the goddess Isis.

Io can use wind and the best healing magic just behind messiah, Io is weak to electrical attacks

She is the third shortest member of SEES and is usually seen with her right arm behind her back, holding her left arm.

At school and excursions into Tartarus, Fuuka wears her winter Gekkoukan High uniform with a teal green turtleneck that has flower patterns, along with white tights and brown loafers. On weekends and days off, she wears a black turtleneck underneath a light green poncho with a yellow flower pattern, a long faded jade-green skirt,black leggings and black slippers,In the summer, she wears a white vest with her summer school uniform, and replaces her white tights with white socks, while on weekends and days off, she wears a bright aqua green sundress with white strapped heels. She is usually seen wearing her turtleneck outfits, Fuuka has short teal-blue hair and dark brownish-gray eyes

Initially, Fuuka is a very reserved, shy and timid girl who rarely speaks up. Before she joined S.E.E.S., this made her an easy target for school bullies, to the point of Natsuki Moriyama locking her in the school gym, which resulted in her getting trapped in Tartarus. However, she is also a friendly student once others open up to her and very kind-hearted, even more so than Yukari. She is very polite, and almost always uses honorifics when addressing people. Usually cool, calm, and collected, she also has independence, which is shown by her being able to survive in Tartarus for ten hours by herself, when SEES were barely able to last an hour in there at that point, and despite being quiet and not being involved with fighting and physical combat, she tries to help her friends in any way possible such as using her Persona's abilities to scan the statistics and weaknesses of Shadows, showing her to be very diligent and dedicated, In keeping with her kind nature, Fuuka is a very forgiving person, which is shown by the fact that she holds no grudge whatsoever against Natsuki for bullying her and trapping her in Tartarus, and the two become good friends after she returns to the real world, with Natsuki asking her to call her by her first name, though this is largely because Natsuki is sincerely repentant about what she did to her, Fuuka loves computers and technology, and can almost always be seen in the dorm on her laptop. She is the type of girl who would rather stay inside connected to her computer and tinkering with electronics, rather than going outside to shop or any outside activities in general for that matter, due to her shyness. While never shown on-screen, Fuuka seems to be an expert hacker, as she manages to hack top-level Kirijo Group archives in order to find out the truth about SEES and Tartarus and can piece back together video files purposefully deleted by third parties, Fuuka is often shown to be a terrible cooker,Koromaru felt terrified when she cooked

Lucia of Syracuse, also called Saint Lucia or Saint Lucy, was a Christian martyr who died during the Diocletianic Persecution. She is venerated as the patron saint of the blind. She is one of eight women explicitly commemorated by Roman Catholics in the Canon of the Mass. Her traditional feast day, known in Europe as Saint Lucia's Day, is observed by Western Christians on December 13th. Lucia's name can branch from two words: "lux" (Latin) meaning "light," and "lucid" (English) which means "clear," "vivid" and "intelligible."

She was a devout young woman who led a life of extreme virtue and whose belief in consecrating her virginity for God and whose urge to spend her life on alms enraged her pagan betrothed, who then reported her as a Catholic to the magistrate. When her mother, Eutychia, arranged for her to marry a wealthy pagan, she refused.

Despite Eutychia ultimately coming to respect Lucia's choice and revoking the betrothal, her suitor denounced her as a Christian to the magistrate, threatening to send her to be defiled in a brothel. After her refusal to burn a sacrifice to the emperor, she was immediately sentenced into execution. When the guards came to sentence her to death, she knelt down and prayed for salvation as the guards attempted to move her. Yet, miraculously, she remained fixed to the spot, The men attempted many ways to move her from verbal abuse to violently stabbing her, even going so far as to set her on fire, but she remained rooted to the ground. Christian traditions state that her body was filled with holy spirits that the guards were not able to take her in by force. They continued to fail in their violence against the girl until her fiancé told the guards that if he could not have those beautiful eyes, no one could. At this point, they decided to cut her throat and gouged her eyes.

Lucia is unique, as she is never used actively in battle, but provides tactical support for the team regarding locations and weaknesses of the shadows

Koromaru is a small white and gray Shiba Inu dog with red eyes. When he joined SEES, he was given a special Evoker made for dogs: a metallic collar around his neck. He has a red armband on his front left leg, a miniature white t-shirt, and very small angel-esque wings on his back.

He is kind and has shown extreme loyalty, choosing to stay at his master's shrine long after his death and going for a walk every day like he used to with his master. He is also very protective of the shrine, as shown when he risked his life to defend it, but got seriously injured in the process. According to Aigis, he considers the shrine a sacred place.

Koromaru also exhibits numerous human characteristics, despite being a dog. He exhibits intelligence far above that of most dogs. He is fiercely loyal, and particularly close with Shinjiro Aragaki, who often feeds him special food and takes extra care of him. He is a fan of a show called "The True Battles of Real Men," which exhibits acts of courage from real people. He begs makoto to take him to the theater for a special showing of the final episodes of the show. Koromaru whines and runs around after the movie until makoto agrees to purchase the boxed set after its release, before joining SEES Koromaru was a stray dog that Fuuka Yamagishi and Yukari Takeba played with regularly. A housewife tells them that Koromaru's master, a monk from Naganaki Shrine, had died in an accident, Koromaru continued to protect the shrine and wait for his master's return, One night, a rogue Shadow is detected outside of Tartarus. The shadow wanders into the shrine area, where it is killed by Koromaru, Akihiko Sanada manages to reach the shrine, only to find the shadow defeated and Koromaru injured. Akihiko is very impressed at the dog's bravery and intelligence, and Mitsuru Kirijo makes sure that he receives the best veterinary care possible

In Greek mythology, Cerberus, also known as Kerberos, is a monster and pet under Hades that guards the gates of the Greek underworld, the realm of Hades. It is generally depicted as a vicious, gargantuan dog with three heads, although accounts may vary. Cerberus is in fact the Latin transliteration of the Greek name Kerberos.

Cerberus was one of the monsters born from the union of Echidna and Typhon, both as monstrous and hideous as their offspring. Echidna was half-woman, half-serpent, while Typhon was the most fierce of all creatures. Among his brothers, the most famous are the Lernaean Hydra, Chimera and Orthrus.

cerberus is a Fire and Darkness elemental Persona and differs from the usual appearance as a black three-headed hound resembling a Doberman

Aigis appears as an android with short, blond hair and light blue eyes and a she wears a ribbon, her humanoid shape allows her to process thoughts like a human making it easier to handle a Persona, her main core is just below her neck and is covered by her ribbon, When she transfers and appears in Gekkoukan High, she wears the generic winter female school uniform, which also includes black knee-length socks and brown loafers, but retains her red ribbon, in the dorm and in tartarus she usually is naked, thing that is no issue at all cause she doesn't has intimate parts at all, most of her "skin" is white, except her face that looks completely human, she uses the winter uniform at school to hide her body

Aigis' initial personality is simply a robot designed by the kirijo group to obey orders and exterminate shadows, although she is drawn to makoto and states that it is very important for her to be by his side, going so far as to hug them in front of everyone, She is prone to doing very strange and socially unacceptable things, such as breaking into Makoto's room to wake him up and requesting to be on standby in their room, which Yukari calls her out for. A palladium, or palladion, was an image of great antiquity on which the safety of a city was said to depend that appear in Greek and Roman mythology. "Palladium" especially signified the wooden statue (xoanon) of Pallas Athena that Odysseus and Diomedes stole from the citadel of Troy and which was later taken to the future site of Rome by Aeneas. The Roman story is related in Virgil's Aeneid and other works.

In English, since circa 1600, the word "palladium" has meant anything believed to provide protection or safety, or a safeguard, therefore similar to the word "aegis."

Ikutsuki is a bespectacled, middle-aged man with dark brown eyes, long wavy brown hair and a goatee. He wears a tan jacket over his black turtleneck.

Ikutsuki, as the adviser of SEES, is a polite and sophisticated man, never needing to change his tone or manner. He is friendly, always accompanied with a gentle smile and a set of bad puns and unfunny jokes to provide comedy relief when it is needed, and perhaps not needed. As seen in the video recordings, he may also sometimes write down some puns on his status reports even if they are unwarranted or unrelated to the subject. Ikutsuki knows more than he lets on, but nonetheless he is the main source of knowledge for the group regarding all things related to the Dark Hour and thus acts as guidance for SEES, That being said, in spite of his friendly and welcoming personality, he is unable to properly assimilate into the rest of the group, maintaining an underlying distance that leaves his relations with the others to be civil and nothing more.

Ken has styled short brown hair and eyes. Even as an elementary student, he is short for his age. At school and Tartarus, he wears a school uniform of Gekkoukan Elementary, with an orange jacket under his Gekkoukan jacket, and tennis shoes with white socks. On weekends off, he is seen wearing a long orange turtleneck sweater shirt with light orange sleeves and tan shorts. On the summer days off, he wears a black turtleneck shirt underneath his orange and black jersey

Despite his young age, Ken is very intelligent and mature. It is shown that this is a coping mechanism due to the death of his mother at a young age, which more-or-less forced him to give up his childhood. His maturity is noted by Yukari, who can't believe he's in elementary school and claims that Junpei, who is a full six years older than him, could learn a thing or two from him. Fuuka also notes his maturity, and finds him cute as a result of it. Besides being mature, Ken also says several words that boys his age don't usually use, such as "bastard," Additionally, he doesn't take kindly to when others underestimate or degrade him due to his age or the fact that he is in elementary school. He is normally very polite to others, and never misses a chance to show respect where respect is due. He is also honest, diligent, and deeply caring towards his peers, particularly the members of SEES. Ken is shown to like and care a great deal for animals, such as Koromaru, Although Ken is very mature, he still has several traits that fit with his age and is sometimes too precocious for his own good. Overall, Ken gives off the impression that he's trying too hard to be something he's not, i.e. an adult. Ken notes that one of the reasons he uses spears in battle is so that the long reach of the weapon can let him be on even ground with an adult, He is also shown to be quite naive at times, such as when Junpei convinces him into believing the girls aren't wearing anything under their kimonos, which they wore on New Year's Day: although Junpei had clearly perverted intentions, those were completely lost on Ken. He finds a role-model in Akihiko, whom he admires for his boxing and fighting talents, often referring to him as "Sanada-san" as a form of respect to akihiko

Although especially idealistic, his tragedy with his mother's death torments him in maintaining his sense of justice and the reason to live it belies for him: at first, he considers suicide, but eventually forgoes that and responds with a drive for revenge. Although hesitant towards taking down Shinjiro Aragaki, he would become consumed by hatred without thinking of the consequences, specifically the guilt that he will drown in as warned by Shinjiro himself

Nemesis is the personification of divine justice and retribution in Greek mythology, punishing those who succumb to hubris and commit wrongdoings. She is the daughter of both Nyx and Erebus and her siblings are Thanatos and Hypnos.

In the lost epic Cypria, the prelude of the Iliad, Zeus fell in love with Nemesis and pursued her. Nemesis transformed into a goose to escape him, but Zeus turned into a swan and forced himself on her, producing an egg that was given to the Spartan queen Leda. Helen of Troy hatched from the egg and was raised by Leda, who was also the mother of the twins Castor and Pollux.

Shinjiro is the tallest member of SEES, He has unkempt brown hair worn perpetually under a beanie, and steel-colored eyes, His clothing is relatively simple, consisting mainly of a maroon peacoat, a brown turtleneck long-sleeved shirt, black pants and brown shoes, Shinjiro is always wearing a coat and the beanie, Shinjiro typically has a "shifty" look about him. He often has his hands in his pockets and his head held low, eyes cast off to the side but he assumes a more confident and straightforward pose with his weapon: an axe.

A reliable and serious character whose cold exterior masks his weaker, gentler self, Shinjiro's difficult past weighs him down, causing him to constantly push others away with a tough-guy act. Ever since accidentally causing the death of Ken's mother, he has given up being a member of SEES to live a normal life, even though there are only so many Persona-users and so SEES needs all the help they can get, something even Yukari, who has no love for SEES or the Dark Hour, has the sense to realize. As he points out to Akihiko, both of them are held back by the guilt of their pasts; they just have completely different ways of dealing with it, He is revealed to love dogs, in particular Koromaru, who he spoils; in the same scene, he is shown to be an avid cook that enjoys learning from cooking shows, he is revealed to be a kind and caring person, always worrying after the other members of SEES. He takes great pleasure in being able to help his friends (though he might not admit he even enjoys their company), and he doesn't want to see them make the same mistakes he might have made in the past. He seems to have a deep relationship with Akihiko, being his childhood friend and always worrying about him even after leaving SEES, Additionally, he also protects Ken from danger due to the past and takes care of him like a younger brother

Castor was the elder twin brother of Polydeuces and part of the Argonauts. Both Castor and Polydeuces had the same mother, Leda, but Polydeuces' father was Zeus, while Castor's father was a mortal man named Tyndareus; because of this, Castor was mortal while Polydeuces was immortal. When Castor died, Polydeuces requested to share his immortality with him, and they became the Gemini constellation.

Castor's design shares some elements with Polydeuces, mainly its long blond hair and the square materials on his body. Their shoes and gloves look the same as well, with the difference being their color. The resemblance is likely a reference to the sibling relationship between the mythological Castor and Pollux.

Along with riding a hobby horse, Castor's chest is impaled by the tip of a spear and its face resembles a skull.

Ken Amada's mother was accidentally killed by Shinjiro during a SEES mission two years ago in 2007. SEES tunnel-visioned on a roaming Shadow they were fighting and consequently did not consider civilians in the area; Shinjiro lost control of Castor due to inexperience, resulting in a rampage. Castor apparently crushed the entirety of the Amada home. Ken tried to explain what happened to a police officer, describing Castor as a "shining horse monster," but the officer didn't believe him. Mitsuru Kirijo apologizes to Ken for her family covering up what happened, blaming a car for crashing into his house.

Junpei has dark grayish-black hair, gray-colored eyes and a goatee. He is shown to be slightly taller than makoto, yet shorter than Akihiko. He is often seen with both of his hands on his belt when idle, except while wielding a two-handed sword, which he holds with both hands

While at school and in Tartarus he is in the school uniform of Gekkoukan High, though his, like the rest of SEES, is slightly modified, he wears the school jacket and pants, but with a blue collared dress shirt, He wears the red brassard of SEES that all members wear on his left arm, a navy blue baseball cap with a white Triquetra symbol on the front, and he wears several accessories, consisting of a silver necklace, a chain attached to his pants and black dress shoes. He also wears a white belt with an intricate silver buckle and black patterns along the belt.

On weekends off, he wears a black jacket with a white shirt, black pants, his hat, and a necklace.

On summer days off, he wears a faded black tank top and navy blue jeans.

Junpei is usually portrayed as goofy, perverted, immature and upbeat. He fancies himself a ladies' man and frequently tries to hit on girls, with little to no success. Despite this, he is capable of being kind and caring, and he often cracks jokes and calls people "dude" to make them feel better. After school, he is typically seen indulging in his hobbies of reading manga or playing video games. His bedroom in the dorm is a complete mess with stuff scattered everywhere, as shown in a command console recording when Mitsuru suspects that there had been a robbery in his room, when that is actually what his room always looks like. He is also very reckless and hot-headed and rarely thinks things through, such as when he blindly chases after a Shadow when he, Yukari and makoto are on the monorail during a full moon, leaving the latter two to fend for themselves until they catch up to him. However, Junpei does have his sensible moments, As well as being reckless, Junpei is frequently shown to be book dumb, as he consistently gets low scores on every exam. However, this is largely due to a lack of willingness to study, which only increases when he joins SEES, as he considers saving the world to be more important than school work. This never ceases to annoy Mitsuru, who has to constantly remind him that school is important as well. He's frequently called 'Stupei' by Yukari due to his lack of intelligence and often poor decisions. Although he usually brushes it off, Junpei is shown to greatly dislike this name, and at one point tells her to stop calling him that. Over time, however, she uses the name less and less, likely due to him becoming more mature. Junpei also starts to take studying more seriously towards the end, and gets a decent score on the final exam.

all the members of SEES, Junpei's initial reason for joining is the most selfish; to play hero and earn some recognition. At one point, he laments over the fact that nobody will ever know about the group's heroics, since nobody except them know the Dark Hour even exists. He claims that he should be the leader and becomes jealous of Makoto's special power, which often results in outbursts aimed at makoto out of frustration, Later, it is revealed that Junpei's "class clown" personality is largely a facade to hide his deep insecurities; as far as he's concerned, fighting is the only thing he's ever been good at, and he hates that there's someone better than him at even that (makoto). It's because of this that he is initially annoyed that Tartarus and the Dark Hour would soon be gone, as that would mean taking away his purpose in life. Sometimes, he is shown to be upset, depressed or angry as a result of his father's alcoholism, whom he resents and has a poor relationship with. Besides these displays of negativity, however, Junpei's attitude usually remains carefree and lighthearted, and he rarely shows his true feelings in the presence of his friends, he even expresses a strong dislike to people who are drunk and go around the streets asking for money prefering to not be involved and would rather ignore them.

Hermes, the youngest of the Twelve Olympians, is the messenger of the gods in the ancient Greece. He is the offspring of Zeus and Maia, and also recognized as the patron of travelers, commerce, athletics, literature and poets, sometimes of healing and invention, even of thieves and liars. He was well worshiped by the ancient Greeks and apparently his figure appeared in many of their myths. As an infant, he created the first lyre, which he gifted to Apollo as compensation for stealing immortal cattle, who in return gave him the caduceus, a herald staff adorned with wings and entwined by two serpents, nowadays often used to symbolize medicine. His main task is to aid travelers on their journey, and to guide the dead to the Underworld, where he could enter or leave without any hindrance. He is known to wear a winged hat (petasos) and winged sandals (talaria).

hermes first appeared after the Dark Hour unfolds before Junpei's eyes, causing him to scream in terror, This portrayal of Hermes lacks his caduceus, but the wings on the head and the huge ones attached to his lower body part still resemble the god's origin. His skills and abilities deploy Fire based attacks along with Physical attacks. Hermes resists Fire but has a weakness against Wind attacks

the evoker is a gun-like item, It functions as a summoning medium for members of SEES to invoke and control their Personas. Evokers are created and manufactured by the Kirijo Group.

Evokers prove to be traumatizing and tiring to use, as the Evoker still retains the shape of a gun, and using an Evoker resembles the act of committing suicide, because in order to summon a persona one must point the evoker at Themselves and shoot, the Evoker is a symbol of death, accepting death and knowledge of mortality, which often arise during the teenage years. It also acts as a reminder of how the members of SEES are aware that they can die while fighting Shadows. This is why Yukari Takeba has difficulty using her Evoker: she is afraid of death, and comments that the predicament is like "losing innocence." This is also why makoto has no difficulties using it: he does not view death as scary.

While human members use gun-like Evokers to summon their Personas, there are several unique cases. Koromaru, a dog, utilizes a collar-shaped Evoker to summon his Persona. Moreover, Aigis, as an Anti-Shadow android, possesses a built-in Evoker.
