At first, the government welcomed the Divocher, believing they could be negotiated with. But that was a lie. The aliens did not seek peace. Instead, they turned Tokyo into their first stronghold, using it as a testing ground for their advanced technology and biological experiments.

As the Divocher spread, Tokyo’s leadership collapsed, leaving the people defenseless. Those who could escaped to 12 secured districts, while District C and parts of District G fell completely under alien control.

Black Horizon was formed long before the invasion. A secret non-governmental organization, they foresaw the disaster and prepared for the inevitable. While the Tokyo government was busy signing deals with alien overlords, Black Horizon was building fortresses, training soldiers, and researching advanced weapons.

When the invasion began, they revealed their existence, opening the massive security walls they had secretly built to shelter survivors. From that moment, they became the last hope of humanity.
