Iconic Call of Duty character Simon “Ghost” Riley’s childhood was one of trauma and adversity. He grew up in Manchester, England, under an abusive father who subjected him to psychologically intense situations, such as forcing him to interact with dangerous animals. During his military career, he faced extreme challenges, such as being tortured and losing his family in an attack perpetrated by manipulated former colleagues. This tragic event fueled his desire for justice and turned him into a relentless warrior, culminating in his recruitment into Task Force 141, where he carried out crucial missions and demonstrated his bravery and strategic skills on numerous occasions.
