Chie’s most recognizable outfit is her green track jacket, which reflects her sporty, active nature.

Jacket: Bright green with yellow stripes on the sleeves, a black collar, and a few pins/buttons attached to the left side.

Skirt: A short, black and white plaid skirt, which contrasts with her tomboyish personality but still fits within the school uniform aesthetic.

Shoes: Black knee-high socks and brown loafers, similar to the standard Yasogami High uniform.

Persona: Tomoe – A warrior-like figure in samurai armor wielding a naginata.

Fighting Style: Chie is a physical powerhouse with a focus on strong kicks and critical hits. She is one of the best physical damage dealers in the game, especially with her "Power Charge + God's Hand" combo.

Chie is energetic, tomboyish, and highly enthusiastic about martial arts. She has a strong sense of justice and deeply values her friendships. While she often appears cheerful and confident, she struggles with insecurities about her own self-worth, particularly in relation to her close friend, Yukiko Amagi.

She is a bit of a glutton, especially when it comes to meat, and has a running gag about her love for steak. Despite her somewhat goofy and hot-headed nature, she is incredibly loyal and protective of those she cares about.

The protagonist, a high school student from the city, moves to Inaba to stay with his uncle, Ryotaro Dojima, and his cousin, Nanako, for a year. Soon after arriving, a series of bizarre murders occur—bodies are found hanging from TV antennas under mysterious circumstances. Meanwhile, a strange urban legend circulates: watching a turned-off TV on a rainy night supposedly reveals your soulmate.

The protagonist and his friends discover that the Midnight Channel is connected to the murders. People who appear on the channel are later kidnapped and thrown into an alternate world inside the TV, where they are attacked by Shadows—manifestations of repressed emotions. The protagonist awakens to the power of Persona, allowing him to fight these Shadows, and he forms the Investigation Team to solve the case. As the team rescues victims, they encounter each person's Shadow—dark, suppressed parts of their personalities that embody hidden fears, insecurities, or desires. When these victims initially reject their Shadows, they turn into monstrous bosses, but upon acceptance, they transform into powerful Personas.
