Donnie Darko

Donnie is a sixteen-year-old with mental health issues; he suffers from schizophrenia, which causes him to experience hallucinations and sometimes sleepwalking episodes. He is very intelligent and often questions others' positions to defend his beliefs; he is also impulsive.

He is a boy with slightly tanned skin, black hair, 1.80 cm tall and blue eyes.

Donnie Darko is an intelligent, introverted, and emotionally complex teenager living in a quiet American suburb in the late 1980s. His life takes a strange turn when he begins to have visions of a disturbing figure named Frank, a man with the appearance of a giant rabbit who warns him that the world will end at a certain time. As the days go by, Donnie experiences increasingly strange events and begins to question reality, fate, time, and his own role in the events around him. While trying to understand Frank's messages, he becomes entangled in a series of events that affect his family, his friends, and his community. Although he often appears distant or rebellious, Donnie is a thoughtful, curious, and deeply sensitive person. He has a tendency to question authority, social norms, and simplistic explanations of how the world works. His story revolves around free will, time travel, personal sacrifices, and the search for meaning amidst seemingly incomprehensible situations.
