Physically, Mr. Puzzles is a tall and thin humanoid, with a gray 50s/60s television box head that is identical to his adware form, minus the face. His real face is a light gray static background with differently shaped eyes with one big and one small, along with a large grin taking up most of his lower face. His teeth's colors, which are yellow, cyan, lime green, pink, red, and blue, are intended to resemble a TV ‘s color bars. Although his face is depicted as a screen, it is implied that his face is actually behind it as it remains intact even after the screen is shattered by Mario. The bottom edge of his head has the word "Puzzlevision" printed on it, which is an entertainment streaming service platform that he owns. He also seems to have a black cable-like neck that connects to the back of his TV head, which bares similarity to what actual cables do with TVs. He wears a black bowler hat with a gray band on his head, with two TV antennas sticking out, though one is bent. He wears a grey vest with a white undershirt and a black bow tie, as well as white elongated four fingered rubber hose gloves and black and white dress sneakers. His pants are dark grey, with silver puzzle patterns, his pants also come with suspenders with grey puzzle pieces as buttons. His pants are also a tad bit short and thin black cable-like legs are visible if one looks closer. One of his eyebrows also forms a lightning bolt. He cycles through different faces that appear on his screen, using the same colored smile and grey eyes. However, when he has an insanity rush, his face goes into a creepy face without the smile, nicknamed Photoshop Mr. Puzzles or just the Insane face. (See faces below)

Oneshot Wren was a light skinned Inkling Boy with cyan eyes and dark grey hair that fades to black. He has a tattoo on his right cheek.

When Oneshot Wren was famous, he wears a black V neck tee, black shorts, and red work boots. He used to wear a red beanie, pilot goggles & studio headphones, but he gave it away to Meggy when she was a toddler.

Even though Niles is a Super Meme Guardian, he doesn't look anything like Fred, he has a much more detailed appearance to reference his role of being an artificially created SMG, unlike the rest of his kind. He has gray skin with black shoes and red laces. He wears black pants and a purple-gray hoodie with grey stripes. He has a red hat with white hair that fades to lilac at the bottom, covering part of his face. He also appears to have bandages on his arms.

As Lawyer Kong, he resembles his normal self, but with a Nintendo head bandana and a small gray top hat on his head, matched with an unbuttoned short-sleeved suit (with a black belt and yellow buckle without the trousers) with two buttons but still including the short-sleeved white shirt and black tie

He looks like a rather tall, humanoid, chubby lizard in a yellow T-shirt with stars, glasses on his face and usually wears a dokimakura with an image of an anime character.

She looks like an Ikling with blue hair that hangs to one side, she has yellow eyes and sharp teeth, she wears a white short jacket with three different badges, she wears black trousers and red sneakers, and pointy ears.

As the WaluRambo, a muscular, shaggy, shirtless, deity, wearing a purple headband, and wore pants similar to the overalls he normally wears, though he kept the shoes and gloves.

Mr. Puzzles maintains a complex personality rooted in a strong ego and an expectancy for control. He often craves attention, evident from the name of his entertainment company, "Puzzlevision," and his persistent desire to be in the spotlight. He manipulates those around him, including the SMG4 crew, making them obsess over their objectives, and turning them into adversaries for his twisted shows. Despite his friendly façade, Mr. Puzzles has unstable mental tendencies and sociopathic traits, demonstrating a troubling lack of empathy and a talent for exploiting others for his benefit. For instance, he showed enjoyment in seeing Meggy tortured and becoming completely traumatized by Oneshot Wren and took delight in SMG4's ability to "play an antagonist so well." His unstable mentality can make him have severe breakdowns when something keeps going wrong, and his temper reflects it as seen in Mr. Puzzles' Incredible Game Show Spectacular!

His dedication to entertainment is so compulsive, that he has transformed into a cyborg with a television set for a head, and once he took over Didneyland and replaced it with Puzzle Park, he fused with the engine room of his new amusement park, becoming its power source, all of this symbolizing his obsessive nature to gain fame from his creations. Even though he possesses ruthless ambition and a craving for control over his entertainment platform, Mr. Puzzles is still able to be affable if he wants to, as evidenced by his temporary bond with Leggy. He experiences deep emotional distress when she is taken away, revealing his underlying vulnerability and bit of humanity as he has never had friends before hence also why he is obsessive for attention.

Following Mr Puzzles’ imprisonment, he will never be likely to repent on his flagitious acts, nor if he will ever change his ways or not, due to his deteriorating insanity as he completely lost all of his sanity as a result of being arrested for his crimes.

On the surface, Wren came off as a charismatic and passionate player who loved to score top victories in Splatfests. He also had a big following and would motivate younger individuals to become star players like him. However, he came off as being rather arrogant, boasting a rather big amount of pride into his career.

However, after a downward spiral in his status, he resorted to immoral and heinous methods to try to regain some status by trapping others in his simulation, although it is unclear how much of this came naturally and how much was the result of Mr. Puzzles manipulating him. His callous actions were enough to mentally break Meggy into insanity, with the goal of breaking her spirit so she would stay in the simulation. Unfortunately, his arrogance came at the cost of his own life, as when he attempted to summon his minions through the simulation, it resorted into the collapse of his headquarters. Before perishing in his last moments, Wren made one last honorable remark towards Meggy, showing even as a fallen hero, he still possessed a shred of respect.

the Demonic Goop has now corrupted her, leaving her devoid of morality and sense of control and instead transformed her into a feral, predatory state. This led to her attacking anyone who set foot in the ruins of her castle regardless if they were a friend or foe.

Niles appeared to be coolheaded and rebellious, given how he often ends up in detention and enjoys picking on others, especially Melony due to her naivety and goody two-shoes personality, but is also sarcastic and obnoxious as he makes jokes about politics (making him an absolute)

Although Lawyer Kong claimed to want to restore the Mushroom Kingdom after SMG4's influence had corrupted its inhabitants, notably Mario, he held a callous disregard for all the non-Nintendo characters such as Meggy, referring to them as a 'disease' and aimed to segregate them from the Nintendo characters. His lack of empathy is also clear when the DMCA is signed as he takes pleasure in seeing the majority of the SMG4 cast perish.

As an oppressive and crooked attorney, Lawyer Kong is not hesitant to resort to underhanded methods to keep Mario and Nintendo in order, such as relying on ninja minions, Inkopolis' police force and even forcibly knocking Meggy's documents away from her to prevent her from disputing the Super DMCA in time.

Leader is depicted as callous and spiteful, nearly identical to Desti and even having Meggy herself see Desti in her during the Splatfest. She is racist towards humans and at one point, plays dirty when she shoves Meggy into a pit. She is also shown to be abusive to her teammates when she kicks one of them in the ribs after Killer Ink loses.

While not to the degree his brother Wario is, Waluigi is greedy and will overcome many obstacles for a small personal gain. He is smarter than his brother and tends to be more focused on the task at hand when his cowardice doesn't get the best of him.

Francis was an obnoxious, egotistical, and commanding chameleon who was known to have an obsession with two things; Japanese pop culture, and his waifus. He was shown to be very stingy and failure-intolerant, as he forbade Mario to join with his friends to go to Japan and ordered him to recover his profit that he lost to him in SMG4: Mario's Illegal Operation. In his roles earlier in the Anime Arc, Francis had a commanding and strongman-type attitude to the point were the characters were loyal to him and scared of him. In SMG4: Mario's Lemonade Stand, Tari was shown to know who Francis was and warned Mario to not involve himself with him. Adding to his earlier influence and fear. That same episode, he was willing to help Mario and a crying Tari after Jeeves' gang destroyed their stand. Although this could be because it benefitted him and the cartel.

It was later revealed that he was a power-hungry sociopath who was very possessive of Inkweaver, and was obsessed with his plans to create an island full of waifus for his own and his cartel's desires, and if anyone dared opposed him, he would go as far as death. It is possible that the Inkweaver drove him insane with power, and he would have probably betrayed the rest of the Anime Cartel and not grant their wishes, as Axol attempted to warn two members of the Cartel that he will do so. Though his master plan was ridiculous on paper, he was also completely heartless and sadistic, as he went as far as stabbing Desti at the hands of his own creations, murdering her in the process, and even laughed insanely at the group for not paying attention to him. He also didn't care about the risk of Meggy dying via The Ink Zuccer 2000, even stating that she would live anyways, much to Axol's disgust. Although it was hinted that Francis may not have known that Meggy and the rest of Inkopolis may die in the process as hinted in SMG4: World War Mario
