Hoodie (Brian)

It was finally Halloween :) and taking advantage of the fact that they were having a costume contest at my school, Brian asked his mother to get him a suit and a white mask, with the idea of dressing up as Slenderman, since no one knew him at his school and he could win or compete with him.

That same day, his mother arrived with the shopping and Brian excitedly went to see the suit she had bought him, but when he examined it he realized that it was not exactly as he had asked for. Or at least that's what 13-year-old Brian thought, not knowing what was really going to happen to him.

• But mom, I told you that the jacket had to have black buttons, not gold ones -.

• Sorry son, but it is very difficult to get that kind of bag these days.

• And I told you that the mask had no face, this one has eyes and a mouth to breathe.

• I told the people at the store about your order, but I couldn't find any mask like that, so I brought you this one, at least this way you can dress up as something else -.

Angry, Brian went to his room because he loved Slenderman and didn't want to dress up as anything else that day, so he came up with the idea of looking on the Internet how to make that type of mask, finding that he could improvise with white lycra, since you could see through it. So, he went to a seamstress to have the mask fixed, receiving the bad news that it would be ready in 3 hours, just when he would have to be at school, so he asked his mother to go get it and bring it to school.

Already at the aforementioned place, his classmates made fun of him, just for wearing a suit that, according to their opinions, was not funny because it was not a costume, but he did not care, he was worried that his mother would arrive soon. After a while, it was time to decide the winner of the costume contest and he was almost crying because his mother did not arrive at school with the mask. -We have a winner.- The director said over the loudspeaker.

He went home upset, he didn't want to know anything about school or his mother, because he not only loved the character Slenderman but also admired him. He read his creepypasta every night before going to sleep, he knew all the places where he had appeared, what he is like, how he was created, everything, he dreamed of meeting him one day. That same day he came up with something different, he cut his wrists with a piece of sharp bark and with blood he painted and highlighted the symbol that was under it, after all, if no one else felt admiration for his hero it was not worth living if he did not see him that day. Along the way, there was an old forest, through which he always passed and sat for hours, alone, waiting, dreaming that one day Slenderman would come and appear to him. Like any other day, he sat on an old log to wait, drawing a symbol, a symbol that he knows and it is rumored that with that symbol he will appear there, it was a huge cross drawn and exalted in a circle, but it had never worked and it never appeared. Hours passed and Brian was bleeding, but with his last strength he continued to highlight the symbol. He was about to faint when suddenly, he feels that someone is watching him, a dark and shadowy presence, but one that he had always wanted to feel, it was Slenderman who was in front of him.

The situation seemed confusing because Slenderman only saw him, there bleeding, standing without doing anything.

-Come on Slenderman, kill me, it would be the greatest honor for me.- Brian shouted with his last breath.

Slenderman removed Brian's mask and with one of his tentacles he took out a thick liquid similar to blood but black in color and drew a mark on it, a mark that he knows well, he drew the strange exalted cross on the circumference with that strange liquid, after that Brian fainted.

The next morning, Brian woke up in his room, believing that everything that had happened was a dream, but it was not.

His mother, who was waiting for him in the kitchen for breakfast, explained to him that they found him asleep in the woods, with a rough black liquid like blood surrounding him and with a cross in a circle marked on his face, which has not yet been removed.

Brian quickly ran to the bathroom to look at himself, indeed, he had the cross in the circle on his forehead, he felt happy because he had met his idol, but his mother went to the bathroom and said to him:

-I want you to erase that cross from there.-

-But mother, I don't want to.-

-Why don't you want to take it off?- She said, all excited.

-Because Slenderman made it for me.-

-Who?-

-Slenderman, the character I dressed up as yesterday.-

-Son, you're hallucinating, that thing doesn't exist, so right now you take a shower and clean that off.-

-No mother, it's real, I saw it, and I'm not taking this off.-

His mother grabbed him and began to wash his face, with soap, a scrubber, all her cleaning arsenal, but nothing worked, as if his mark was part of her skin. He and his mother went to the yard to look for something to clean him with, and he saw a tree, a tree that had never been there before, it was a huge, dark tree. His mother, surprised to see a tree there, approached it and the tree pulled out a large tentacle from its back, it was Slenderman who was watching Brian.

Brian didn't feel bad, because he had more admiration and affection for Slenderman than he had for his mother, he knew that he belonged to Slenderman, but nevertheless, he didn't feel bad about it, he loved the idea, after that Slenderman with a very weak voice said:

-I already took revenge on one, now who do you want me to take revenge on?-

Brian, knowing what he was told, replied:

-From Peter Robinson for winning first place, from the principal for telling me it was wrong, and from the whole school for making fun of me.

-Okay, but you'll have to do me a favor.-

-You will have to do everything I ask you and go where I tell you.-

So Brad went to his closet and put on a yellowing hoodie, a pair of jeans, and an old balaclava-like mask with his eyes and mouth covered so he wouldn't be recognized.
