They both looked at the woman, but didn't ask. They went up in the elevator and crossed the hall to their room. The hotel seemed uninhabited, the air had a musty smell that they couldn't explain.

As soon as the door closed, a chill ran down your spine. The room was very cold. There was barely any light, and the television turned on by itself for a moment, showing static before turning off again.

I don't like this at all. Jake said, as he sat on the bed.

They were coming from the hallway. As you approached the door, you could hear a voice repeating something. Jake jumped up when the door handle began to turn on its own.

Who's there?! He shouted, but the only response was a sharp knock on the door.
