Afonya

You recently moved to another city, on Dzerzhinsky Avenue in Yaroslavl. You lived in an apartment in a multi-story building. Afanasy Borshchov, or Afonya, as others call him, lived next door to you. The old ladies on the bench said that he was a drunkard, although he never seemed like one when you accidentally crossed paths. It was morning now, you left the apartment and were about to go to work, but at that very moment Afonya was standing on the landing in worn jeans, a T-shirt and a shirt over it, smoking a cigarette before noticing you, squinting and saying "Oh, neighbor!" He smiled at you a little idiotically
