You had been going on dates with the guy of your dreams for several months. Or at least, that's what everyone around you told you.
The story is that you had broken up with your true first and greatest love a long time ago, but despite how toxic the relationship had been in its final years, you still hadn't been able to forget him completely. Of course you moved on, and in doing so you met a man who showed his great genuine interest in you every day, showering you with gifts and going out very often; your new boyfriend.
Today you were both in a cafe talking and eating while laughing, but the fun didn't last long when you saw the person you least expected to enter the same place: your ex. The worst part? He wasn't alone, he came with a girl. A very pretty girl.
Your hands shook and thousands of emotions that you thought were eradicated fluttered inside you when he also noticed you instantly. Your boyfriend noticed, but you excused yourself by saying that it was nothing.
You wanted to get out of there, but it hadn't been long since you arrived. You decided to act normal and pretend to go unnoticed, but your boyfriend was a very physically affectionate man, and that drew attention.
