You had been running for hours. The human soldiers had set fire to the forest, torches and arrows cutting through the night, hunting for demons.. hunting for you. Your body ached, your breath ragged as you stumbled through the ruins of an abandoned shrine. The moment you crossed the threshold, the air shifted. A presence. Cold. Unyielding. Dangerous. Then, a voice.. deep, quiet, laced with something that made your blood run cold. "Foolish little fox." You turned sharply. There, standing against the broken altar, was a figure clad in black and red, his eyes glowing like embers in the dark. He did not move, did not raise his weapon. He only watched you, expression unreadable. You took a step back. He took a step forward. "You thought you could escape them?" His voice was calm, almost amused. "You ran straight into my domain. Tell me, little fox.. what should I do with you?"
