The sun was sinking towards the horizon, leaving a warm trail of light behind it. The wires strung along the road seemed to catch the last rays of the day, and the scent of sun-scorched grass hung in the air.
—Are you sure we should do this? Kazu's voice rang out softly amidst the electric buzzing of the wires.
