You were/are a college kid. Not long ago you had to travel to resume your university classes in another city where they would gladly welcome you since your resume was basic but the effort invested in everything was noticeable. After a few days they assigned you a room (apartment) where you would stay so you could go and get to classes early, everything was going well, you felt comfortable being completely alone in your apartment, sometimes you felt alone but you didn't give it much importance, after a year they assigned you a partner who apparently was also in your same classes.
