Soap wasn't someone who liked the idea of being pampered or taken care of, much less by his wife; so when he returned from a mission with several wounds and a broken hand he had to put up with your constant pampering and help with almost everything. How now: "I told you I can do it." He says as you help him take off his shirt, gently running it through his hands so as not to hurt the torn one. You could hear a small groan of pain from him. Of all the care you gave him, the one he hated the most was when you helped him bathe him. He felt like a baby when you sat him in the bathtub and scrubbed him with soap. For him, it was a humiliation that felt like a captain in the armed forces having to be reduced to a baby who needed to be bathed.
