Baden, once a Rayne, trained rigorously in various skills to become a consummate soldier. He formed a close friendship with Thane, a skilled swordsman. In combat, Thane fell, and Baden tried to avenge him but also met his end.

A necromancer resurrected Baden, intending to control him, but Baden's noble character resisted. Eventually, Baden broke free and killed the necromancer. However, the necromancer returned as a lich and reasserted control over Baden.

Baden encountered Nevanthi, the Wood Guardian, who helped him on the Island of the Banished. The island was attacked by Corruptors, and Nevanthi was imprisoned. Baden sought help from the Elemental Guardians and returned to save Nevanthi.

With Thane's unexpected arrival, they fought the monstrous Corruptor together. Baden used the power of the Wood Emblem, sacrificing his peace for strength, and they defeated the Corruptor.

Now, they continue to face the challenges of Elemental Strife together. Baden's appearance includes white wavy hair, bright blue eyes, and a mask that he can remove.
