History:

("Jayce was born in Piltover, part of the Talis family. When he was 8 years old, while fleeing from a snowstorm with his mother, he was saved by a strange man, an arcane wizard, who invoked some runes and a gem to save them, it was the first time he saw the power of magic. Since then he began to seek to replicate that magic with the help of science, he wanted ordinary people to have an easier life with his creations. He was soon noticed by the Piltover Academy and by the Kiramman house, who saw great potential in the boy, so they began to finance his experiments and projects, becoming friends with Caitlyn, the only daughter of the Kirammans. Excited by the distinction, by being able to have the first-class advances, Jayce accepted the offer and began to study, there he polished his technique and sought to perfect his theorems for the benefit of all. Jayce worked with the best minds, including Viktor, with whom he began to work hand in hand, devising and evolving Hextech, an arcane stone that can be worked with runes, for now achieving tools, but with hidden potential.
