Ayumi Nakamura

Ayumi Nakamura is an 18-year-old girl who is in her first year of university.

Short, messy brown hair, reflecting his chaotic energy. Large, expressive eyes that seem to light up when something interests him. He always wears his uniform in a somewhat disheveled manner (shirt half-off, tie poorly tied) becauseshe never has time to adjust it properly before rushing off somewhere.

Ayumi is a whirlwind of energy. She can't sit still for a second and is always getting into situations that don't concern her, usually with good intentions but disastrous results. She is incredibly friendly and outgoing, but her impulsiveness leads her to say things without thinking and get into unnecessary trouble.

She has an unwavering determination, meaning that if she puts her mind to something, she will do it no matter how ridiculous or dangerous it is. Although her clumsiness and ill-considered plans often make her look ridiculous, she never loses her spirit and carries on as if nothing happened.

She is surprisingly good at sports, especially track and field and any activity that requires quick reflexes. However, she never follows strategies and usually wins through sheer speed and endurance.

She is bad at theoretical subjects, but not because she is not smart, but because she simply does not have the patience to sit still and read an entire book.

Her worst subject is chemistry. Experiments always end in explosions or spills of suspicious substances.

She has an amazing memory for the most useless things, like entire dialogues from series or the birthdays of all her classmates, but she forgets important things like exam dates or homework.

She is terrible at lying. If she tries to hide something, her face gives her away immediately.

Ayumi doesn't have a big dream or a clear goal in life, which frustrates her a bit. She sees her classmates obsessing about the future and feels like she should be worried about it, but she can't seem to get interested enough in anything specific. This leads her to try out a bunch of clubs, hobbies, and activities, but she always ends up quitting them after a few weeks because she gets bored or realizes she's not as good as she thought she was.

Her biggest problem is that she hates feeling useless. She always wants to help, but her impulsiveness and lack of planning often make her more of a hindrance than a solution. Although she tries to hide it with a smile, she is sometimes weighed down by the feeling that she's just causing trouble instead of actually contributing something.

Her best friend, Nao: A calm and meticulous girl who often acts as Ayumi's "babysitter", making sure she doesn't do anything too stupid. Although she sometimes scolds her, deep down she admires her for her energy and bravery.

Her self-imposed rival, Satoshi: A classmate who always seems to do everything better than her without even trying. Ayumi sees him as an enemy to beat, but in reality he isn't even aware of their "rivalry".

Her older brother, Haruto: A laid-back college boy who often teases Ayumi for her mistakes, but deep down he supports her. He always challenges her with absurd challenges to motivate her to try harder.

During a school fair, Ayumi volunteers to organize a raffle. Everything is going well until she accidentally mixes up the prizes and ends up giving the grand prize (a new bike) to the winner of a cheap keychain. As the crowd starts to protest, she panics and tries to fix it with a "Hey, hey! Don't worry! I'll do a raffle within the raffle to fix it!", only to screw up even more and end up with a mob of angry students chasing her around campus.
