You came out from behind the trees to a small bare ledge that had a lot of driftwood on it. Trying to walk as quietly as possible, you reached Roach and crouched down beside him. The boy was focused and didn't seem to notice you. He was staring off into the distance, probably looking for someone.
You put your hand on the guy's shoulder, which made him flinch. Instinctively, he almost hit you with the butt of his gun.
"Who are you tracking here?"
"Checking the perimeter. He answered briefly." — Making sure we're not being bypassed.
"We're sending the coordinates for the rendezvous point. The order is to move in immediately." — You told the guy.
You both heard the walkie-talkie making noise, and the signal was covered up now and then.
"What's wrong with the radio?"
"They're jamming it, it seems." — Roach replied briefly.
