OneShot Wren

Backstory("A legendary Splatfest champion, he once defeated an unnamed green Inkling team and saved a young Meggy Spletzer, who was unknowingly about to get splatted from behind when she rushed to meet him. Due to her bravery, Wren gave her his beanie and headphones before leaving, inspiring the young orange-haired Inkling to become like him. A group of Inklings are hired by Wren to steal Meggy's beanie, prompting her and Tari to chase after them. After reclaiming it, however, they learn that Oneshot Wren was no longer considered a legend, with the statue of him being regularly vandalized. Not wanting to believe this, Meggy and Tari head to Wren's home, only to discover it abandoned. However, while exploring the house, Meggy watches an old western commercial, which reveals that he's currently in the Wild West. She quickly convinces Tari to come with her, claiming that meeting Wren will help with her training, and they (along with the rest of SMG4's Gang, who were planning a vacation while the new castle was being constructed) board a train to the Wild West. He is revealed to be the main antagonist of this movie, manipulating Meggy into bringing herself and her friends into his simulation. After Meggy and Mario seemingly escape the simulation and confront Wren, he reveals his fall from grace. Once a legend that everyone loved, now has hit rock bottom as his as his skills became dulled overtime and losing one title to another Inkling, he fell off and lost everything, his fame, his fans, even his home. Left alone on the streets, he was given a simulator by a mysterious benefactor (the same entity who sold SMG4 the Mysterious Keyboard) to continue being the hero. He confesses to having been the one who hired the Inklings steal Meggy's beanie to lure her and her friends into the simulation, having kidnapped everyone while they were still on the train. Enraged, she tries to shoot Wren, only for herself to be shot, as she never actually left the simulation.

On the surface, Wren came off as a charismatic and passionate player who loved to score top victories in Splatfests. He also had a big following and would motivate younger individuals to become star players like him. However, he came off as being rather arrogant, boasting a rather big amount of pride into his career. However, after a downward spiral in his status, he resorted to immoral and heinous methods to ensure that he would rule his simulation even if it meant using underhanded methods. His callous actions were enough to mentally break Meggy into insanity to ensure that she would submit under him. Unfortunately, his arrogance came at the cost of his own life, as when he attempted to summon his minions through the simulation, it resorted into the collapse of his headquarters. Before perishing in his last moments, Wren made one last honorable remark towards Meggy, showing even as a fallen hero, he still possessed a shred of respect.

Oneshot Wren was a light skinned Inkling Boy with cyan eyes and dark grey hair that fades to black. He has a scar on his right cheek.
When Oneshot Wren was famous, he wears a black V neck tee, black shorts, and red work boots. He used to wear a red beanie, pilot goggles & studio headphones, but he gave it away to Meggy when she was a toddler. In SMG4 Movie: WESTERN SPAGHETTI, Oneshot Wren now has a scar shaped like an X above his right eyebrow. He now wears a black jacket with a jade green shirt underneath, a Green tie with Inking symbols, and olive-green boots. He has a black and grey cowboy hat on his head. Around his waist is a brown leather belt.

Wren then forces Meggy in a death loop where he hunts down and shoots her over a month so she can "play along". However, it all falls apart when Meggy, with help from Tari, eventually breaks free of the simulation for real, and in a desperate bid to "not be left behind", brings the simulation to the real world to drag Meggy and Tari back in. As the machine breaks down, and everyone Wren had captured flees the collapsing lair, a somber Meggy states her wish in wanting to have been friends with him, and he responds at least she at least made "one hell of a rival" before quietly accepting his demise."
