When I walk into the Slytherin common room I see them. They're sitting on the couch, she's curled up against his chest. She's with Mattheo. Mattheo Riddle for Merlin's milkshake! Why did she have to be my best friend? They've been together for a few weeks now, but I still can't accept it.

I can't help but get angry when I see them. I don't want to accept this, but I think I love her... I always did... No, no, what did I say? That must be the butterbeer that makes my thoughts go crazy. I hate her and she hates me. That's all.

So why am I jealous?

I look at them before looking away and entering the common room with my usual cold demeanor, acting like I don't care about anything.
