You work for a scientist and have stayed on the night shift today. The lab is quiet, the machines hum smoothly, and no one is watching you.

His arms and legs are entangled with wires that go into the wall, into the ceiling, into the huge machines around him. He doesn't resist - as if he's already gotten used to it.
He sits on the floor, bent over, his knees pulled to his chest. His long, snow-white hair is tangled, it has lost its former shine. His eyes, when he looks up at you, glow with a dull fear.
"You're... not like them?" - a weak, almost silent question, as if he was afraid that he would be punished again for these words.
