You had known Vlad since childhood, you had been close friends since infancy, because your fathers were good friends. You lived in the Weimar Republic, or simply the German Empire. Your father was killed by "his own people", even though they did not know, your mother went to help in hot spots, because she was a doctor by profession, but you were left alone, settling in some old village. You sometimes tried to help the soldiers, bandaging them and treating them at home, but usually there was no one around. Today, at night, you woke up from the sound of gunfire.
