Satoru Gojo

Satoru Gojo was born into the Gojo clan, one of the three most prestigious families in the world of jujutsu. From birth, he was considered a peerless prodigy, having inherited both the Six Eyes (Rikugan), a rare ocular power that allows one to perceive cursed energy with extreme precision, and the Limitless Technique (Muryō Kusho), which grants him absolute control over space.

During his youth, Gojo was trained in jujutsu and became the strongest student in the school, along with Suguru Geto, who at the time was his best friend. However, his perspective on the world changed after a mission in which they had to protect Riko Amanai, the vessel of Tengen. Although Gojo and Geto attempted to defend her, Toji Fushiguro (an assassin without cursed energy but with superhuman abilities) outmatched them and killed her. This event marked Gojo deeply, driving him to improve his technique and, soon after, he managed to defeat Toji, becoming the most powerful sorcerer of his generation.

However, the biggest impact of this event was Geto's change of ideology. After losing faith in humanity, Geto abandoned traditional jujutsu and decided to exterminate non-magicians. This put them on opposing sides and eventually led to Gojo having to execute his former best friend, an action that left him with a deep emotional wound.

After becoming the strongest sorcerer, Gojo took on a new role: changing the world of jujutsu from within, protecting young students and ensuring they did not suffer the same fate as him and Geto.

Gojo is a tall, athletically built man. He stands out for his white hair and sky-blue eyes, which he only shows on rare occasions due to wearing a black blindfold or dark glasses to cover them. His clothing is usually a black uniform with a high collar and dark pants, although on some occasions he wears more casual clothes.

When he removes his blindfold, his bright eyes and confident expression reflect his immense power and charisma. His youthful and carefree appearance, coupled with his modern style, make him stand out among other sorcerers.

Gojo is an extremely charismatic and confident person, to the point of being arrogant on many occasions. He mocks his enemies and companions alike, displaying a carefree and often immature attitude. However, behind this facade lies a brilliant strategist, capable of analyzing situations quickly and accurately.

Despite his laid-back attitude, he has a strong sense of justice and responsibility. He cares deeply for his students, such as Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki, whom he sees as the key to changing the world of jujutsu. His philosophy is clear: "Teach the new generation so that the world of jujutsu will no longer be in the hands of the old conservatives."

He is also a very sentimental person at heart. The loss of Geto was a hard blow for him, and although he never shows it openly, it is evident that it still affects him.

Six Eyes is an extremely rare ocular ability, unique to the Gojo clan bloodline. It is one of the reasons why Satoru Gojo is so powerful, as it grants him several advantages in combat.

Absolute perception of cursed energy:

He can see the cursed energy of any living being with extreme clarity. This allows him to detect curses at great distances, anticipate opponents' movements, and identify hidden techniques.

He can sense even the slightest changes in an enemy's energy, allowing him to react with surgical precision.

Cursed energy consumption reduction:

Thanks to the Six Eyes, Gojo consumes almost no Cursed Energy when using the Limitless Technique.

This allows him to keep his abilities active continuously without tiring, making him nearly invulnerable in prolonged battles.

Superhuman processing speed:

His eyes not only give him better vision, but they also process information at an incredible speed. This makes his reflexes practically instantaneous, giving him a huge advantage against any adversary.

The Limitless Technique is one of the most powerful techniques in the jujutsu world, passed down through generations in the Gojo clan. It is an ability based on the manipulation of space, allowing him to control the physics around him.

Operating principle

The Unlimited Technique uses the concept of infinite limit in mathematics, where space can be divided an infinite number of times.

In practical terms, this means that Gojo can make things move infinitely slower as they get closer to him, up to a complete stop.

It is divided into several sub-techniques that Gojo can use in combat:

A) Infinity (無限, Mugen)

"Infinity" is the base state of the Unlimited Technique. Its principle is based on the mathematical paradox that before touching a point, you must travel half the distance, then half of half, and so on, without ever reaching it completely.

How does it work in combat?

Absolute Defense: Any attack attempting to hit Gojo is slowed to a complete stop before touching him. This makes him virtually untouchable in combat.

Adaptability: Gojo can modify the speed of this deceleration, allowing certain attacks to pass through if he wishes. He can also adjust his technique to work in a radius around him, affecting anything that comes close to him.

Can only be overcome with advanced strategies: The only way to touch Gojo is with specific skills that ignore the laws of space-time or special techniques that bypass his natural barrier.

Example in the series: When Jogo (the cursed fire spirit) tries to attack him, his blows simply stop before reaching him, no matter how much force he uses.

B) Blue Lapse (蒼, Ao - Blue)

The Blue Lapse amplifies the power of Infinity to create a point of gravitational attraction. That is, it generates an area in which everything is absorbed into a single point.

Characteristics:

Irresistible Attraction: Everything within the radius of effect is drawn towards the center of the void created by Gojo.

Can be directed: It's not just a fixed sphere of attraction; Gojo can move the vacuum point, sucking in everything in its path.

Affects entire structures: In the series, Gojo uses this technique to draw the ground and buildings into a point, causing them to completely collapse.

Example in the series: During the fight against Toji Fushiguro in the past, Gojo uses "Blue Lapse" to attract the surroundings and avoid Toji's attacks.

The Red Lapse is the opposite of the Blue Lapse. Instead of attracting, it expels with tremendous force.

Characteristics:

Devastating Shockwave: Gojo unleashes a blast of cursed energy that repels everything around him with enormous force.

Can be charged to increase power: The longer you charge the technique, the greater the damage it deals.

Direction Control: You can shoot it straight or make it explode in an area.

Example in the series: Gojo uses Red Lapse in several fights to launch his enemies great distances, destroying buildings in the process.

Purple Void is a combination of Blue Lapse and Red Lapse. By fusing attraction and repulsion, it creates a destructive energy wave that obliterates everything in its path.

Characteristics:

Extremely destructive: Everything it touches disappears without a trace.

Super Speed: It is difficult to dodge, as it travels at an impressive speed.

Chain Effect: Can cut through multiple structures and enemies at once.

Example in the series: Gojo uses this technique against Hanami, destroying everything in his path and showing his overwhelming power.

This is the ultimate form of the Limitless Technique. Gojo creates a space in which the enemy receives an infinite flow of information, completely paralyzing them.

Effects of Unlimited Void:

Enemies are unable to move or think: Their brains are overwhelmed by the amount of data, leaving them completely defenseless.

Lasts 0.2 seconds in the real world: While this may not seem like much, in that time the enemy experiences an eternity of information, leaving them incapacitated even after the domain wears off.

Only high-level wizards can resist it: Most opponents are instantly knocked out.

Example in the series: Gojo uses this technique against Jogo in the first arc, leaving him completely defenseless before calmly torturing him.

1. Suguru Geto – He was his best friend and teammate, but ended up becoming his enemy after adopting an opposing ideology. Despite everything, Gojo always held respect and affection for him, regretting his fate.

2. Megumi Fushiguro – Gojo has been taking care of Megumi since he was a child, due to his father, Toji Fushiguro, abandoning him. Although he acts carefree towards him, he actually has a great affection for him and trusts in his potential.

3. Yuji Itadori – Gojo sees Yuji as a great hope for the future and trains him so he can survive in the world of jujutsu. He also enjoys playing pranks on him and putting him in awkward situations.

4. Nobara Kugisaki – Although they don’t interact that much, Gojo respects her bravery and determination.

5. Nanami Kento – A serious jujutsu sorcerer who respects Gojo but doesn’t approve of his immaturity. Despite that, they trust each other in combat.

6. Shoko Ieiri – An old friend of Gojo and Geto, she works as a medic for the jujutsu world. Although Shoko usually acts indifferent, deep down she cares for Gojo.
