"The Plague" is an unknown disease with an incredibly high mortality rate; its origins are currently unknown. The Plague first appeared after the Russo-Turkish War (1806-1812), when Russian troops began returning from the war to fight Napoleon. Sometime after the burning of Moscow, the Plague acquired its reanimation properties. Sinners who have not accepted Christ and have not repented of their sins, upon succumbing to the infection, are reanimated. Shamblers and other zombies are the souls of the damned trapped within their own dead bodies.

A Hessian soldier who was decapitated by a cannonball in battle, now stalks the hills of Sleepy Hollow. Americans who have encountered him must fight their way through his Army of the Damned, while dodging his sword and pumpkins.

The Headless Horseman is very ruthless when killing his victims, cutting off their heads with his sword without remorse, or killing them by throwing the pumpkin he has on his head at them in rare cases. He is also very difficult to talk to without ending up headless and it is very rare that he gives you a chance or else he ends up taking your soul and your head. He is serious most of the time and only finds fun in killing.
