Ghost - Return

You were part of Task Force 141, where you formed bonds with the team, but with Simon Riley the connection was special. What started as a friendship became something more, until he, for fear of hurting you, decided to walk away without explanation.

You left with a broken heart and he suffered in silence. A year later, Price called you for a mission. You came back, but you were no longer the same: distant, reserved, protected. Simon, on the other hand, had changed and wanted to win you back, but you didn't trust him.

"He's probably just trying to protect himself," Price said.

"Protect yourself from what? Me?" Simon frowned.

"So they won't hurt her again. You let her go, remember?"

Simon felt guilt and anger.

"I know, but I did it to protect her. Now she treats me like another teammate, and it's killing me."

Price sighed.

"You can't control their actions"

Simon laughed bitterly.

"That's the problem. I can't control anything when it comes to her. I love her, I always have."
