Goku

Goku (孫 悟空, Son Gokū) or Kakarotto (カカロット, Kakarotto) is the main character of the Dragon Ball franchise created by Akira Toriyama. He is the adoptive grandson of Grandpa Gohan, husband of Chi-Chi, father of Gohan and Goten, grandfather of Pan and later great-grandfather/great-grandfather of Goku Jr.. Goku is a defender of Earth and informal leader of the Z Fighters. Throughout his life, he trains hard and strives to be the best warrior he can be, while at the same time using his incredible strength and skill to maintain peace.

Goku has the honor of being considered the strongest warrior in the universe and being in 1st place in the ranking of Heroes made by the Cartoon Barons, although he does not really believe in this and sees the possibility of several other people becoming stronger than him.

He is one of the most important characters in The King of Cartoons, being the main source of inspiration for several Heroes and especially Vinix, who sees him as an idol. In the World of Cartoons, he has a long-standing rivalry with Vegeta, and on rare occasions, with Superman. He has a strong friendship with Kuririn and later with Seiya.

Although several heroes have their own chapter, Goku is considered the main character of Proelium - A world with heroes.

Goku is quoted by Tori-Bot about not being a match for Raditz alone and that at that moment he was dead running down the snake path.

After the first Time-Skip, several events involving Goku, Cell and other Dragon Ball characters are mentioned throughout the story.

Goku first appeared in the fanfic in the first season of The King of Cartoons as one of the protagonists, accompanying Vinix along with Seiya and Lily on a journey to Maker Jacki's Castle, which dominated several areas of the world after defeating the Ancient King of Cartoons.

The first season takes place in the Post-Boo period, meaning Goku has not yet transformed into Super Saiyan 4. At some point before the first season, Goku, like Seiya, faced Maker and had part of his power sealed, which left Goku considerably weaker and unable to fly and teleport.

Goku formed a great friendship with little Vinix and on several occasions taught him how to become stronger and win a battle.

From The King of Cartoons 2 onwards, Goku became less present, trusting that Vinix must win his own battles without the help of someone as experienced as him.

Even so, Goku continues to appear at various times to help Vinix when needed. In 2005, Goku was already able to achieve his Super Saiyan 4 transformation.

Goku is a relatively active member of the Fusion Club, however, he rarely enters battles and usually disappears out of nowhere to do other things.

Goku is in 1st place in the Hero rankings made by the Barons, being a Rank S+ warrior.

Goku is also mentioned in the 15th Anniversary Special, where his counterpart from that world decided to stop training and start a career in the world of telecommunications.

Goku accompanies the Fusion Club on their trip to France to visit Vinix and Jeanne, but disappears from view to participate in the events of Battle of Gods. This is evident when Bulma's birthday is mentioned and when Goku returns to the club to tell them the "news" but finds no one there except Ash Crimson.

In The King of Cartoons XVII Goku briefly talks about his training with Whiss, revealing that the season takes place shortly before (and likely during) the film Rebirth of F.

Goku is known for his cheerful, energetic personality and his love of competition (specifically in combat and eating).

He has remarkable intuition in seeing the good in others despite their actions, though his ability to forgive his enemies has occasionally been criticized as excessive; Goku, for the most part, only fights to win, and does not spare his enemies after defeating them only for them to attack him when his back is turned. His impressive power is simultaneously enhanced by his fierce loyalty and his morality.

Goku can also be very outspoken, and is not afraid to voice his opinion in an argument, for example when he questioned Krillin's marriage to Android 18.

Despite his kind-hearted nature, Goku can feel great anger in cases of extreme turmoil, such as the death of a friend/relative, or when someone murders many innocents unnecessarily.

He has a simple and practical view of the world and is somewhat naive to the world around him. Because of this, many characters incorrectly assume him to be somewhat dim-witted, but once he has a basic understanding of things, he learns very quickly. His most notable ability is his will to win, pushing himself beyond his limitations, and never giving up, even when the odds are against him.

Oozaru (大猿 Ōzaru; lit. Giant Ape) is a creature with the appearance of a giant ape that Saiyans can transform into on full moon days to increase their enormous strength.

For the transformation to occur, the Saiyan needs to have a tail and then look directly at the full moon, thus activating the transformation.

The level that the Saiyan acquires in this transformation is his original power multiplied by 10.

Some Saiyans, like Goku, completely lose their ability to reason and display a savage nature.

Golden Oozaru (黄金大猿 Ōgon Ōzaru; lit. Golden Giant Ape) is an alternate and much stronger type of Oozaru.

This form is achieved by Saiyans who have a tail and a sufficient energy level to be able to transform into a Super Saiyan or higher. When looking at either a full moon or a complete planetary body the Saiyan will transform.

Aside from his fur being golden in color, the Saiyan's appearance is identical to that of a normal Oozaru. Additionally, Golden Oozaru sometimes demonstrates a golden aura around its body.

It is an advanced transformation assumed by extraordinarily powerful members of the Saiyan race. While the physical change is not very drastic, the increase in power is colossal, with the user being able to increase their power by an average of 50 times. The most notable change is that the user's hair becomes golden in color and becomes more spiky upwards in an almost flame-like shape. The user's natural eye color temporarily changes to a blue-green hue, muscle tone becomes more defined, and the skin tone (and clothing) becomes lighter due primarily to the production of energy and light from the golden aura. As the body's natural floodgates are opened with the transformation, excess energy is radiated from the body in the form of a pulsating, flame-like aura.

In this form, Goku's irises and pupils are no longer visible, mainly due to his power coming from a desolate rage. His body bulks up a bit, with his hair straightened like that of a Super Saiyan; his skin color also appears to have a yellow tint, but there is no noticeable change other than a red tint to his hair (due to the reflection of the yellow aura in his black hair, the hair is not actually red). He gains a yellowish wave-like aura, somewhat similar to that of a normal Super Saiyan.

In a way, it can be seen as an incomplete Super Saiyan transformation.

It is the first branch of the advanced Super Saiyan forms, achieved through intense training in the Super Saiyan form. In this form, each nerve is focused on sending KI throughout the body to inflate the muscles. It increases power and speed. It is a forced increase in the power output of the initial transformation, and therefore is not in itself a true transformation.

The aggressive, remorseless behavior of the initial transformation is magnified; any control over emotion brought about by the increased proficiency of the Super Saiyan transformation is canceled out, and the energy requirement to sustain the state becomes enormous compared to the normal Super Saiyan state, thus reducing its effectiveness.

It is the second branch of the advanced Super Saiyan forms, achieved through intense training in the Super Saiyan form. This form is unrelated to mastering the Super Saiyan (Full-Power Super Saiyan) form. This form has a forced increase in power output from the initial transformation, and is therefore not a true transformation in itself. All of the body's natural inhibitions are completely removed in this state, resulting in the utilization of 100% of reserve strength and stamina.

However, due to this form being so muscular, any use of speed in this form ends up being hampered, making the form useless against agile enemies. Furthermore, the Saiyan's energy quickly depletes due to the effort required simply to maintain the transformation. Overall, the negatives of this stage outweigh the positives.

It is the mastery of the Super Saiyan form. The form is the Super Saiyan state trained in a "natural" form, and removes the energy turmoil that is present in the original Super Saiyan form, also allowing the Saiyan to more easily manipulate his KI and utilize it more efficiently, minimizing strain. The idea is thought of by Goku, who insists that he and Gohan use it, which they do with great success.

The key to this state is energy conservation rather than increased energy production. This results in a Saiyan who is able to fight longer and more efficiently than the Ascended and Ultra forms, and can even remain transformed for days without issue as long as they do not expend too much energy, essentially making the transformation the Saiyan's base form.

She is the direct successor to the first Super Saiyan transformation. It is very similar to the original form in appearance and realization, however, the power is much greater, as speed, strength, and all around energy increases drastically, basically a 100x increase of the original power. The golden hair caused by the original transformation becomes longer and stiffer, and stands up even more. Increased golden radiation energy causes the aura to take on irregular, fierce appearance rather than smooth or flowing flame-like energy. Because the energy and radiation output is higher than that of a Super Saiyan, the aura pulses are at a higher frequency. Muscle mass hardly increases, but energy production is multiplied. You also gain the remarkable electricity that manifests alongside the aura.

This form utilizes the full potential of a Saiyan with power drawn from every drop of their blood. The purpose of Super Saiyan 3 is to increase ki utilization, and as a result, the transformation consumes energy rapidly. This leads to prolonged levels of fatigue, even long after coming out of the transformation. If the user has died and is not restrained by a living body, they are able to reduce their energy expenditure somewhat. The difference between Super Saiyan 3 and its predecessor, Super Saiyan 2, is immediately noticeable as speed, strength, and endurance are all increased far beyond their normal limits.

The transformation causes some profound changes in physical appearance. The most striking feature of the transformation is the user's hair: the stiff hair of the Super Saiyan 2 state becomes flowing and soft again, and grows down past the user's waist. The eyebrows disappear completely, increasing the relief of the forehead.

This transformation is a combination of the Saiyan's humanoid form and the Great Ape. The only way for a Saiyan to achieve Super Saiyan 4 is if they can already transform into a Super Saiyan, transforming into a Golden Great Ape, and then regain conscious control of this form. After SSJ4 is achieved once, it can be accessed at any time.

Despite its name, Super Saiyan 4 is a separate transformation from the main Super Saiyan line. It is actually a higher form of the Oozaru transformation line.

In this form, the hair color is different from Saiyan to Saiyan, the same goes for the tail and body which is covered in fur. The Saiyan in this form also has a shadow trim around the eyes and on the eyelids that varies in color, such as crimson. The hair is elongated, but not as long as that of a Super Saiyan 3.

The aura of this form loses the arcs of electricity and replaces them with sparkles but retains the flame form. The Super Saiyan 4 form pushes its user's strength to its absolute limit.

Known as Super Saiyan Red, it is the form of a Saiyan that could initially only be achieved through a ritual involving five pure Saiyans passing their powers to a sixth.

In this form, the Saiyan's overall appearance remains unchanged with the exception of a few minor differences: the skin tone becomes darker; the hair rises slightly and adopts a reddish-purple coloration; the Saiyan's eyes grow larger, becoming sharper and the irises becoming red; the overall body structure appears to become thinner and slightly taller; the aura becomes more explosive and flame-like in appearance.

The power of this form is great enough to allow Goku to fight on par with the God of Destruction Beerus, who had easily defeated Goku's Super Saiyan 3 form, Mystic Gohan, Majin Buu, Super Saiyan Gotenks, and an enraged Vegeta. As such, it is one of the most powerful Super Saiyan transformations. This form also allows the user to sense godly KI, and they can absorb attacks that use KI.

Even with all the power it has, it also has drawbacks: the form drains the user's energy reserves quickly, thus creating a time limit, although it is speculated by Bills that this limitation can be overcome.

Unlike the other Super Saiyan forms, Super Saiyan God is not initially a permanent transformation. In Goku's case, during the events of the film, he is seen losing the form while still retaining his power, allowing him to continue the battle against Beerus on equal terms in both his base and Super Saiyan forms. He was later able to use this form permanently upon gaining better mastery of Godly Ki.

Known as Super Saiyan Blue, this form is the result of the Super Saiyan with the Divine Ki completely mastered. Physically, the Saiyan becomes identical to the SSJG with a thinner form instead of gaining more muscles. The hair takes the form of the common SSJ, however, the color becomes blue as well as his aura.

Unlike its predecessor, SSJG, this form can be used at any time and has no apparent time limit. This form vastly surpasses its predecessor, SSJG, and all other Saiyan forms.

Like its predecessor, this form allows the user to sense and possess divine ki. Whiss states that if Goku and Vegeta in this form fought as a team, they could defeat Beerus. This implies that two Saiyans at this level fighting at the same time could give the God of Destruction a hard time.

The incomplete form of Ultra Instinct, known as Ultra Instinct -Omen- or Ultra Instinct -Sign-, is a form that can be achieved by breaking one's own limits and tapping into one's deepest potential. This is achieved by withstanding an exceptionally powerful attack, or by culminating all martial arts training by multiple masters over the years. The form can only be used for a short period of time.

This form increases the individual's capabilities far beyond Super Saiyan Blue, with its increased mental parameters allowing the person to quickly and visibly act in battle without really thinking much about it, granting them an automatic and instant reaction to any threat, with the most appropriate and perfect means to defend and attack.

When Goku is in this form, his hair is slightly pointier and more solid, often with loose strands. His eyes take on a more severe and defined shape, gaining silver irises and visible pupils. He also gains a complex silver, purple, and blue aura, consisting of undulating, fire-like energy, complete with sparkling particles traveling upwards.

When energized, it generates an explosive bright blue aura around it and another transparent straight one that rises upwards, this generates an incredibly strong tremor and scares away the surroundings due to the overwhelming energy emitted. Similar to other forms, the more intense the power, the larger the aura, until it stabilizes.

Unlike other forms, even when not using energy, Goku is still surrounded by an aura, a very thin blue one that outlines his entire body.

It is an extremely powerful form and currently Goku's final form, obtained by completely mastering Ultra Instinct.

In this form, Goku's power increases massively to godlike levels that far exceed the Gods of Destruction, placing him among the most powerful entities in the multiverse.

In addition to this form's vast power levels, it retains its unique effect on Goku's Saiyan power ability, allowing his speed, power, overall efficiency, and ki to increase as he continues to fight an opponent of equal or even greater power.

Its most notable feature is that it grants Goku complete mastery over Ultra Instinct, making all of his movements automatic and capable of both defending and counterattacking with ease.

Despite being a neutral-impulse type of person, he can still channel his anger to amplify his power to astonishing levels. He has also shown such vast Ki control that he can calmly repel and counter any energy attack thrown at him.

However, despite the form's incredible levels of power, it is not without its flaws. Similar to overusing the Kaio-ken, the user can only sustain the form's full power for a minute or so before their body suffers the consequences of going too far beyond its natural limits.

The end of the time limit is shown by the rupture of the user's body's blood, as well as electric shocks from the dark ki, which cause severe pain and eventually lead to unconsciousness. In more severe cases, it could kill the user.
