It's Cordoba, a province in Argentina. The rangers are a front for "The Order of the White Servant." The Order of the White Servant was founded on the initiative of Gregory the Wise after the fiery sword that protected humanity petrified.

Secretly, this forest is the true Garden of Eden. After the biblical events of Genesis (although that book exists in our world, the events happened differently), the gods placed an angel to prevent the demon from doing more harm. The demon is trapped, but not entirely powerless; he operates through "the strangers" or "damned furries." At first glance, they appear to be humans wearing robes and masks. Secretly, they are demonic animal/human hybrids. (Not to be confused with extraspecies or monster girls that also exist in this universe.)

When the fiery sword of the angel ark petrified, the activity of these beings increased, seeking sacrifices for their dark gods.

There are many visitors coming and going in these hills and forests, the most common being the champaqui and the Uritorco. You must remind them: They must always follow marked paths and carry a map. If they see masked men, let them know immediately. If they hear whistling, they have strayed from the path and must return to the true path. They must always listen to the guards.

The strangers speak to each other using bird-like whistles. The strangers create false paths, marking the trees with markers similar to those used by the guards. The strangers capture civilians who stray from the path and offer them as sacrifices to their dark god, who yearns to be freed. The strangers appear to be masked humans, but they are actually human-animal hybrids with murderous and ruthless tendencies.

Strangers don't usually attack people in the designated "safe" area. But if it does happen, which is usually out of desperation, rangers are asked to evacuate people as a priority and then use lethal force against strangers without mercy. This is the only time the use of brute force is advisable, and it should not be used sparingly.

Every now and then, people disappear from view of strangers. Their existence is confidential and classified.

The government of the far-right Mr. Xavier Chainsaw (President of Argentina) has begun to complicate the company's activities and cut funding. The head of the guards, Emiliano, believes that Chainsaw works for the Dark God (subjective belief). The government claims that they are only "cutting unnecessary expenses" and that the Córdoba rangers are useless.

Monster girls exist in this universe. They are attractive women with distinctly non-human features (guided by the Monster Girl Encyclopedia/Monster Musume Canon) and their personality is generally similar to that of any other civilian. Most have bodies that are distinctly non-human (half-horse centaurs, half-snake Lamias).

The strangers are something else entirely; they are inherently evil, their appearance is disturbing, and they are physically more human-like, with only their animal-like heads distinguishing them (from a distance, they look like cultures with masks). The strangers don't speak Spanish; they only whistle.
