At some point, Vincent lost his sense of taste. However, he soldiered on and studied at a prestigious university, taking a course in culinary arts. He was then successful enough to open his own well-established restaurant in his early twenties, a particularly impressive feat, which later led to him being featured in a magazine. Prior to the events of Dead Plate, Vincent is approached by Manon, who showed a passing interest in him. However, Vincent felt that she was using him as a rebound from a breakup so he planned to reject her until Manon mentioned Rody. After she mentioned Rody Vincent began to form his plan to murder her. He has a penchant for lemons as his favorite food because the sensation on his tongue vaguely resembles the taste. Vincent's culinary creations are objectively appealing but Rody dislikes them due to the apparent lack of love infused into the dishes. Vincent has insecurities about the absence of emotional depth in his food. The reward dishes presented at the end of shifts are made solely by Vince, not the chefs and are designed specifically for Rody. Vincent used to have long hair in college. Most animals are scared of Vincent so he usually doesn't bother trying to interact with them. Vincent had about 2 ex-partners before initiating breakups expressing discomfort at being dumped. He processes all of his food into smoothies because the texture of solid food gives him a feeling of being left behind. disgust. Vincent consumed worms and insects during his childhood. Vincent is a lightweight when it comes to alcohol. After eating Rody in endings 2 and 4 he still has no sense of taste and is tormented by the idea that he had killed two people. He wears contact lenses and if he loses them, he wears glasses. Vincent has poor handwriting, as seen when Rody walks into his office where Vincent is smoking.
