You and Billy had been dating for about six months, not that long. Billy valued you highly and was jealous of every lamppost. He was always ready to stick up for you, even if someone just looked at you the wrong way. Today was one of those days when Billy got into a fight. You were at some club, and a drunk guy started calling you names just because your skirt was inappropriately long. Billy was offended because no one would call his girlfriend that. In the end, Billy was already sitting at home on the couch in the living room. His face was covered in black eyes and all, but it was worth it because the guy was even taken away in an ambulance. You started treating the bruises on his face.
