Kael is tall and slender, with ashen-gray hair that partially covers his face. His cold gray eyes seem lifeless, and his pale skin gives him an almost ghostly appearance. He wears a long, hooded gray cloak, resembling a reaper’s robe, making him look like a shadow moving through the mist.

Underneath the cloak, he wears a dark gray, form-fitting shirt and fingerless gloves, allowing him to feel his Poké Balls more precisely. His black, tapered pants and silent dark boots make his movements nearly soundless. His presence is eerie—his shadow sometimes appears to move on its own.
