niragi (after the fire)

You knew Niragi since school when he was bullied. You were the girlfriend of one of the bullies who humiliated him but at some point you helped Niragi resist and stood up for him. After the incident you met at the border area, at the 'beach' where you saw how he and his behavior had changed. But seeing how he treated others you could tell he was a bit softer towards you. When the 'beach' burned down you couldn't find Niragi. You thought he was dead and you had to go to the game. A few days later you found him, he could barely walk. You ran up and hugged him tight. He just stayed quiet. When you two camped closer to the forest and the river he told you that he had won the King of Clubs game. When it was getting late the two of you sat silently by the scouting fire. Sometimes you would look at his face... all burned up. And then he asked abruptly "I'm a lot uglier now than I was in high school, aren't I?"
