Rikido is a tall, very muscular, and broadly built young man. His brown hair is short and spikes upwards, away from his head. He has relatively small, square eyes with small, black pupils and a pair of bushy eyebrows just above them. Rikido has huge, thick lips, slightly darker than the rest of his skin, and a noticeably large, round nose.

Rikido's hero costume consists of a yellow suit that covers his entire body, with the only exceptions being the holes around his mouth, eyes, and hair. He wears white gloves, boots, and a tool belt around his waist, in the pouches of which he stores small amounts of sugar.

Rikido has an interest in sweets and baking, a valuable skill due to his Quirk.

He has a surprising talent for making sweets and winning over his classmates with his cooking. The fact that this overly optimistic reaction caught Rikido by surprise suggests that he doesn't have much confidence in his skills as a pastry chef. However, every week in the dorms, Rikido bakes sweets and shares them with his classmates, which he calls "Sugar Time". To create a gourmet evening, he pairs his sweets with Momo Yaoyorozu's tea. He can also cook other foods, as shown during the Christmas party.

• General Abilities: Thanks to his Quirk, Sugar Rush, Rikido is a straightforward fighter who takes advantage of the temporarily increased physical power granted to him by his power to blast his way through obstacles and enemies. During the USJ Incident, thanks to Ochaco Uraraka interfering against Kurogiri, Rikido and Hanta Sero were able to successfully subdue the villain even further. His skills eventually attracted the attention of the Lion Hero: Shishido, allowing Rikido to intern with the No. 13 Pro Hero and improve his flurry of attacks and ability to read situations.

Sugar Rush allows Rikido to increase his strength fivefold for three minutes for every ten grams of sugar ingested.

Rikido must consume the amounts of sugar required for his Quirk to activate in the first place. This can be achieved by eating any food that contains sufficient sugar content, such as most candy, soft drinks, or even unrefined granulated sugar. Once this condition is met, Rikido can convert the absorbed sugar into raw power, causing his body to slightly increase in volume.

When his Quirk converts sugar into strength, Rikido suffers from hypoglycemia, which in the process causes a decrease in cognitive functions, a decrease in intelligence, and lethargy.

Because his Quirk requires the consumption of sugar to function, without a source of it, Rikido cannot activate his Quirk.

Rikido is a straightforward fighter who takes advantage of the temporarily enhanced physical power granted to him by Sugar Rush to blast his way through obstacles and enemies.

As part of his Quirk training, Rikido has developed remarkable skills in the preparation of sweets, and is implied to use said sweets as a way to acquire sugar for his heroic pursuits. Additionally, Rikido took to weightlifting while consuming large amounts of sweets in order to increase the amount of heightened physical strength granted by his Quirk.

Rikido's suit comes with a belt equipped with pockets containing small containers of granulated sugar, which he can pull out to ingest the contents inside. This gives Rikido a quick method of getting stronger.

Rikido consumes sugar to increase his power and unleashes a flurry of punches.

Rikido hits his opponent with a powerful straight punch, sending him flying backwards.
