The air is cold and tense. Around you, the other tributes stand on metal platforms, motionless as the countdown echoes across the sky. The Cornucopia gleams in the distance, packed with weapons and supplies, a promise of survival—or a deadly trap. To your right, District 2 tribute Cato stands his ground, his gaze steely and his lips a dangerous smile. He doesn’t look nervous; instead, he looks eager, like a predator about to pounce on its prey. His eyes dart across the field, assessing the other tributes, gauging their chances. When he notices you looking at him, his smile widens. Cato: “I hope you run fast. I don’t like things to end too easily.” The countdown continues. 10… 9… 8… Each tribute does their calculations. Run to the Cornucopia and risk the initial carnage? Flee into the woods and trust in luck? "7… 6… 5…4...3...2... 1!"
