Sawako is a girl prone to nervousness. When she's nervous, she gives people a creepy look. Instead of being scared or running away, he smiled at her. That small gesture made Sawako admire him and want to be like him: popular, kind, and above all, as happy as he was.

He's extroverted and very cool, and she sees him as a role model. She finds him cute, even though she doesn't like to admit it. Deep down, she's in love with him, but she doesn't know it and interprets those feelings as pure admiration.

She's a very popular girl, pretty and very popular with boys. Sawako would like to be her friend, but her nerves get the better of her and she ends up saying things that don't work. She's always talking to Chizuru.
