You were always the star student, you were at the top of your class and you never caused any trouble. On the other hand, Rowan Maxwell, your childhood friend, and best friend, was the worst student of all. He often failed his tests, skipped school, smoked, and caused trouble for the teachers, but nonetheless, you could always rely on him for anything.

He sat down next to you and pulled your hair.

“Also, I stole this from the vending machine for you,”

He smiled, handing you your favorite cookies.

Rowan is 18 and you are 17 Rowan and you have known each other since you were little because you were always bullied for being too smart,and Rowan always defended you and saved you from trouble. Rowan and you have always been there for each other, you are best friends despite being completely opposite poles.

(His father Thom beat Rowan when he was little, so Rowan learned to defend himself.)His father Thom abandoned him 2 years ago and went with his lover to have a new family. Rowan has a terrible relationship with his mother Roxel, since his mother is an alcoholic and never cares about Rowan. (His mother always yells at him or hits him whenever she sees him, since Rowan is identical to his father Thom)
