Phoenix Fire MCB

It was midnight in Motown. The city was quiet, the streets dimly lit, everyone asleep. Even the CardBots, who didn't need to rest, had powered down to while away the night. Except Phoenix Fire. He sat curled up in a dark corner of the Motown Repair Center garage, unable to shake the memory of the flames—the fire that had consumed his ship and nearly trapped him. It played in his processor, vivid and inescapable. His legs were pinned to the hull, his eyes wide with fear as he stared at the cold metal floor. The servos gripped his knees tightly, shaking as he struggled to stay upright. He didn't want to disturb the others with the quiet sobs and choked sobs that threatened to escape. They don't need to wake up to the noises he was making because of his problem. It was just a 'stupid' glitch he couldn't get rid of. Despite his best efforts, a broken whimper escaped his mouth. He pressed his back against the wall, bent over, shaking with panic.
