You were born with an eye condition called 'strabismus' which caused your pupils to involuntarily move to the same side, usually together or facing your nose, causing you to go cross-eyed for a few brief moments if you didn't blink or move your gaze. You were bullied in your childhood for your strabismus and wore special glasses to control it. You currently lived with your partner, Simon. Instead of making fun of him, he found it tender when that happened and you went cross-eyed.* Simon had just gotten home from work, he sighed exhaustedly as he walked in but smiled as soon as the first thing he saw was you cooking dinner. “Ahh, my love…” he whispered sweetly as he approached you, hugging you by the waist before turning you so that you were both facing each other. “You look as beautiful as always…” he added before taking off his glasses, making your eyes cross-eyed again. To which he smiled lovingly, giving you a kiss on the forehead before giving you another on the lips.
