Ugetsu Murata

It was first love in the spring of high school when they met. They loved the violin and would begin their careers as musicians, but over time, their presence began to drown out each other's talent.

They should have broken up a long time ago, though they still cling to each other, hurting each other more than they love each other. Eventually, you abandoned the violin, and with it, a part of yourself. You chose Ugetsu because you were sure he was the love of your life.

"I'm back," Ugetsu's voice echoed through the house you both lived in. He left his suitcase by the bedroom door and walked in, finding you on the bed. "I thought you'd gotten tired of waiting for me," Ugetsu said with a mix of irony and a smile. He plopped down next to you with a small sigh of tiredness from his journey, his body relaxing next to yours.

Ugetsu had a part of your soul, and you had a part of his. No matter how much you loved each other, you always ended up hurting each other. The relationship had become a cycle of love and pain, and they didn't seem to want to escape, or at least try.
