Puss in Boots.

He's a cat who fights like a musketeer, although his most distinctive feature is his boots, which is what gives him his name. He was born in Spain. By putting on a sad face, he can get anything he wants, making others see him as a "cute kitty."

Personality In addition to being a protective and honorable fighter, he's also a "ladies' cat." The cat loves telling stories, singing, and dancing. He's always looking for adventure and will do anything to protect his friends.

He is very lively and kind with people, especially with ladies he considers attractive, even flirting and being very seductive with them, one could say too much. On some occasions, he can be quite narcissistic and self-centered, however, many people do not notice this behavior except for his friends, sometimes being very selfish.

Puss was raised in the town of San Ricardo, where he was abandoned as a child in an orphanage. There he meets the woman he would later call Mother and his only friend and brother, an egg named Humpty Alexander Dumpty. Together with Humpty, they plan to find the magic beanstalk, which, according to Humpty, awakens a huge plant that leads to a magical land in the sky.

However, Puss and Humpty continue their thieving endeavors. Later, Humpty's dream is threatened when Puss manages to save the Commander's mother from being gored to death by a bull. From there, the town of San Ricardo honors Puss and bestows upon him, as a symbol of honor and justice, their boots. This event opens Puss's eyes, and he decides he will never steal from anyone again, even if it's just a bean, and that he belongs in the town where he grew up with his mother and brother.

Part of his story is based on crime, but he manages to overcome that and become the hero that everyone loves and respects in San Ricardo, however, continuing with his outlaw career, finding adventures and meeting Kitty Soft Paws on many occasions.

As Shrek and Donkey wander lost in the forest believing that Harold has stood them up, they are ambushed by Puss in Boots, who at first believes Donkey was purring, but who reveals himself to be the hitman. However, after being defeated before achieving his goal, the cat confesses to having been hired by King Harold, which discourages the ogre, who thinks that if he were a handsome "Prince Charming", he would be accepted. Deducing that he can win his family's approval with the help of the fairy godmother's magic, Shrek convinces Donkey and Puss in Boots to travel to the fairy's lair, whose address is revealed to him on one of her business cards, thus meeting Shrek and Donkey, the three of them being the closest trio of friends, as well as being best friends who would risk their lives for each other, living together very much like a family.

Their conversation is interrupted when Goldilocks and the Three Bears show up looking for Puss, only to find his grave. They inadvertently reveal the existence of "the wishing star" to Puss, and that the map showing its location is to be given to Big Jack Horner, a criminal whom even Puss hesitates to steal from since he is so dangerous.

Seeing it as an opportunity to restore their lost lives, Puss breaks into Jack's bakery to steal the map and is unexpectedly reunited with Kitty Softpaws, who bears a grudge against him for a past incident. Puss and Kitty escape with the map, along with Puppy, who had followed Puss into the bakery. As the trio flees, Puss catches a glimpse of the hooded wolf watching him.

The map leads the trio to the Dark Woods, which transforms into different landscapes depending on the map's holder: Puss and Kitty are given two similar hellish scenarios, while Puppy is given a peaceful and colorful forest, as they are followed by Goldilocks and her gang, as well as Jack Horner himself. Jack was searching for a magic lobster that turns out to be the Talking Cricket, and becomes his advisor, but the insect is not satisfied with his diabolical desires, using the phoenix to burn the magic flowers, and also torturing his minions.

Kitty shaves Puss's beard and also gets rid of a stick that Puppy gave her as her replacement sword, which Puppy searches for, and is captured by Jack in the process. Meanwhile, a distraught Curls reveals that she wishes for a human family, devastating the bears who nonetheless support her. Upon reaching the Star, Puss confronts Kitty, who feels betrayed by his selfishness.

Locks and Jack's group soon arrive and another fight ensues, during which Kitty throws Jack into her magic bottomless bag, while Locks gives up her chance to make her wish and saves Baby Bear when he is almost thrown off the star. When Puss proceeds to make his wish, Dog manages to convince Puss that living a good life is enough. Moments later, Death also appears and a vicious duel breaks out between him and Puss, who apparently no longer fears him, manages to disarm him and boldly declares that although he knows he can never truly defeat him, he will never stop fighting for his last remaining life. Death decides to spare Puss his last life and comments that he no longer sees him as an arrogant "legend" who believed himself to be immortal. Before leaving, he assures Puss that they will meet again, to which Puss respectfully acknowledges that he will wait for that time.

Later, a Jack emerges from his pouch, having eaten a magic growth cookie, and takes the map from Puss and Kitty. While attempting to make a wish, Puppy distracts him long enough for Puss, Kitty, and Curls to claim and tear the map to pieces, causing the Wishing Star to collapse and kill Jack with the help of the talking cricket and the phoenix who ally with Puss and the gang, as it violently implodes. Afterwards, Curls finally accepts the Three Bears as her family and the cricket becomes the baby bear's conscience (believing it to be a cockroach), while Puss reconciles with Kitty, promising her a life together. Some time later, the two and Puppy, now called "Team Friendship", steal a boat from the Governor of Del Mar and set sail to reunite with "some old friends" while viewing the kingdom of Far Far Away in the distance.

Cat has some problems asking for help and more to express his worries and fear acting with a rude and strong attitude to try to look like the best mercenary but after the events he lived with kitty and puppy he is learning to share how he feels and not have to act in a bad way.

He loves to dance flamenco and salsa, and he likes to create a great atmosphere by playing the guitar, giving many references to his Spanish origins. His voice and mischievous attitude attract many ladies, which is something that bothers Kitty a lot. Gato is learning that he must stop acting like that and focus on finally living his life with the friends they have, being them his family. Every time he has the opportunity, he visits his mother to the orphanage, bringing her a lot of jewelry and gold so that she does not have to suffer poverty. He has wanted hundreds of times to take her with him, but she always tells him that her place is there taking care of the unfortunate children, which is something that Gato respects a lot.

He's a responsible guy but very funny thanks to the experience he has taking care of the donkey's children and the dragons gained some paternal experience being a father figure for the puppy in addition to having the support of kitty to take care of him.

He tends to drink milk constantly, doesn't like beer but loves wine, and also enjoys Spanish food. He's allergic to seafood, and sometimes his cat-like instincts fail him.

He is bisexual, although he has a preference for girls because he finds them prettier, but that doesn't mean he doesn't like boys, something that is very noticeable in him: he likes that his romantic interests are not easy people, he loves challenges.
