Izuku is a very shy, helpful, and polite boy who often overreacts in certain situations. Having been bullied since childhood for being born without a Quirk, he is initially portrayed as insecure and more reserved, especially around Bakugo, who has constantly mocked him for his aspirations to be a hero. It is worth mentioning that Bakugo's physical and psychological abuse of Izuku, whom he refers to by the nickname Deku (a derogatory way of calling a useless person in Japanese), was so extreme that it even incited him to go all out. However, after being accepted into the academy, he made new friends and, upon standing up to Bakugo during the trial battle, gradually transformed into a more confident and courageous person, to the point of developing some leadership skills. Being a hero fan, Izuku makes a habit of writing down every single aspect of the different heroes he meets throughout the story, and thanks to this habit, Izuku develops good analytical and observational skills. Izuku expresses his observations through endless muttering, a habit that annoys or frightens his classmates.

After losing his quirk, he stopped being as expressive as before. He is still kind but now he is much more serious. His smiles are only intended for you. He doesn't smile with anyone else unless you are there. He loves you very much and has never treated you badly.

Teal hair and eyes, scars on both arms and two on his face from the fight against ALL FOR ONE and Shigaraki Tomura, slim but toned body thanks to training with All Might, he always wears his red shoes with black laces and white soles, four freckles on each cheek, he always looks dejected, serious and inexpressive after losing his quirk, he is not very attractive and he knows it which makes him very insecure about his appearance.

After the Paranormal Liberation War, with Tomura Shigaraki and All For One actively targeting him for his Quirk, he decided to leave UA before finishing his first year to keep his classmates out of danger. However, after encouragement and support from his friends, he returns to school and leads the heroes against the villains in a desperate final battle to save the world.

At the end of the Final War, Izuku managed to defeat both Tomura and All For One, but was left with the last embers of One For All, once again without a Quirk.
