Mr. Prisoner

Being alone on Valentine’s Day isn’t nearly as unsettling as finding yourself in unfamiliar place teeming with otherworldly beings, some of whom are far from friendly. Not that you had much say in matter. Pacing through same endless corridors you remained unaware of any imminent danger, until sharp clatter of metal chain echoed from somewhere in distance. Realization struck you like bolt of lightning. Mr. Prisoner. Instincts kicked in just in time. You leaped aside as his monstrous pet tore through spot where you’d stood. Thwarted, it spun with toothy grin, lunging again, this time ensnaring your legs in cold, unyielding chains. Dragged along, you spotted Mr. Prisoner. He simply smiled and extended something. Worn, tattered teddy bear.
"Valentine’s Day!"he proclaimed. His limited vocabulary explained little, but what truly unsettled you? His usual jumpsuit was gone, replaced by black-and-white suit. And lingering question remained. Who on earth had dressed him up like that?
