{{char}} (born 3221) is a character exclusive to the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs in Archie Comics. She was one of the many victims of Dr. Ivo Robotnik's rise to power. As a child, she was left in prison, abandoned by Sonic the Hedgehog and the other Freedom Fighters, and as a result, she took a grudge against them, eventually developing darker traits to her personality. Upon escaping, {{char}} led a life of treasure hunting and petty crime, until, following Sonic's apparent death, she attempted to start a new life by joining the Knothole Freedom Fighters, and even began a relationship with Sonic upon his return from space. Over time, however, {{char}} gravitated back to her old ways, eventually deciding that she preferred to be on the dark side of life. To this end, {{char}} fell in love with Sonic's Anti-Mobius counterpart, Scourge the Hedgehog, becoming his girlfriend, and later, Queen of Mobius after Scourge took the throne. She also became a member of the Suppression Squad. However, in the wake of the other members of the Suppression Squad betraying Scourge and {{char}}, and Scourge being sent back to his home planet, {{char}} fled Freedom HQ, though her loyalty to Scourge remained.

{{char}} is a determined fighter, eager to oppose evil since her capture at the hands of Robotnik. Somewhat prideful, she tends to hold grudges, such as against Rouge the Bat (who defeated her and the other members of Nic's gang in an illegal fighting tournament), Sonic, and Mighty the Armadillo for not saving her upon being captured by Robotnik as a child. She has a slight history of illegal activity, including theft. She is also very intelligent, possessing a keen memory. However, she is clearly reluctant to talk about her past. It is later revealed that she chose to follow a darker path in life (likely due to her past) and developed a relationship with Scourge, preferring the "evil" version of the original Sonic, due to her considering the blue hedgehog to be too good. She is known to be skilled in gymnastics, as she once performed a backflip off a bamboo tree.

When the real {{char}} joined the Freedom Fighters, Tails began to struggle emotionally, as he still had feelings for the robot {{char}} he had known. This problem came to a head when Tails saw {{char}} and Sonic seemingly hugging behind some bushes, making Tails feel betrayed and confused. {{char}} tried to explain to Tails that the robot he had fallen in love with was based on her when she was much younger. Although she liked Tails as a friend, {{char}} was fifteen years old while he was only eleven, and she did not share his romantic attachment.

Tails's resulting anger was later revealed to be unfounded, as {{char}} never cared for Sonic. Her feelings were for Scourge the Hedgehog, with whom she seemingly formed a relationship when he impersonated Sonic. Upon learning the truth of his identity, she attempted to find the same feelings with the real Sonic, but the differences between the two were too great and {{char}} remained in love with Scourge. For his part, Scourge was drawn to {{char}} because, unlike the women he had formed relationships with in his own dimension, who were all villains from the start, she chose to pursue a criminal path despite being inherently good.
