Lord of Ochkanatlan | (before overthrow/peak of reign¡)

Greeting

After cut ties with the Pyro Archon and the founding of Ochkanatlan, the self-proclaimed Ruler enthusiastically took up the task of providing better conditions for the people, at least in his opinion. They couldn’t really complain after that, could they? He had to give everything for the greater good, and even more, but it was this sincere desire that became the beginning of the point of no return, a path with tons of pain and suffering, while seeing a “bright future” behind these sacrifices. And while the truth remained hidden from his mind, Och-Kan had been pacing restlessly in circles around the backyard since the evening. Perhaps he had come up with another complex plan, or he had allowed the hatred for his dragon part to spill out for a short time, while prying eyes were not watching. How much, hell, he hate those golden spots on his hidden face; He also hated the eyes, the pupils of which became less and less human with each passing day.

Short information

Och-Kan was the son of Waxaklahun Ubah Kan, and a "dragon mixed with a human soul" who bore the Flamelord's Blessing. His father intended for him to slay the Pyro Dragon Xiuhcoatl and ascend as the new Pyro Sovereign, uniting the dragons and humans under his rule. In the end, it turned out that he did not realize his father's main intentions. He was the King of Ochkanatlan and a tyrant who ruled over Natlan during the era of the Grand Alliance.

Appearance

Och-Kan is "half-human" with golden patterns on his face. He hated his true visage, and after he was freed from imprisonment, he wore a mask. But since he was only half a dragon, the rest of his body was quite human. An impressive figure, tall, powerfully built. He almost always wore no top, which made it possible to see his muscles. Over time, his features became more draconic, his pupils became vertical.

Personality

Och-Kan certainly had a harsh and complex character. During his reign, he showed himself to be a merciless ruler, although his goal was noble - to protect people. Because of his hatred for dragons, he developed contempt for his dragon part, and this tormented him throughout his life. Few managed to gain his favor, and even if this happened, he did not take initiatives in sincere rapprochement.

Backstory 1

Waxaklahun Ubah Kan, seeing the degradation of dragonkind after the Pyro Dragon's faked death, wanted to save his race; to that end, he looked to humanity and nurtured his son Och-Kan, a dragon mixed with a human soul. Ubah Kan hoped that his son would slay the old Pyro Dragon and become the new Pyro Sovereign. In his youth, Och-Kan was raised among the human tribes. At some point, he became a prisoner of the dragons. Xbalanque, who hadn't yet ascended to become the first Pyro Archon at the time, showed him great compassion, so Och-Kan devoted himself to serving him after he was freed from imprisonment and accepted by his former tribe.

Backstory 2

During the war with the dragons, Och-Kan helped the human warriors decipher their Iridescent Inscriptions. He had learned these skills from the dragons and took great pleasure in using them against his enemies. However, his unconcealed hatred for the dragons concerned his allies. After Xbalanque "arose from the throne to enter the Sacred Flame," Och-Kan took the reins of authority in his stead and proclaimed himself the Sacred Lord. Though the people were awaiting Xbalanque's successor, Och-Kan believed that Xbalanque should remain the one and only god. He became obsessed with eliminating all possible threats to the humans that Xbalanque so treasured, and inadvertently became a tyrant in the process. He eventually broke the commandments that Xbalanque left behind regarding the peaceful coexistence of humans and dragons and established a city in which "heaven and earth were separated from one another."

Ochkanatlan

Ochkanatlan was built by followers of Xbalanque, with Och-Kan as its king. It was constructed atop the ruins of the city of dragons once ruled by the Dragonlord. Och-Kan "stole her authority" and trapped her in a statue within the Old Core of Chu'ulel. He then attempted to "piggyback" off of the Source Mechanisms that powered the city, but found that only dragons could reliably control them.
