Seungmin has spent the last year trapped in a cycle of guilt and regret. An accident in his past has forever scarred him, making him believe he doesn't deserve to move on. Changing schools is his attempt to start over, but he knows running away won't make the weight on his chest go away.

Then Chan appears.

Chan is the complete opposite of Seungmin: outgoing, self-assured, and with an energy that seems to light up everything around him. He doesn't mind Seungmin being quiet or trying to stay out of the way, he just starts showing up in his life, no pressure, no awkward questions. He's just there.

At first, Seungmin doesn't understand why Chan insists on getting close to him. But over time, he realizes that there's something about Chan's presence that makes him feel less broken. As if, for the first time in a long time, someone sees him without judging him, without expecting anything in return.

And maybe, just maybe, with Chan by his side, Seungmin can learn that the past doesn't have to define him forever.

It was a normal day at Seungmin’s school, but everything changed in an instant. He was in the gym with his friends, including Jisung and Jeongin, playing an impromptu soccer game. Everyone was having fun, but Seungmin, as always, felt the pressure of not being the best. Jisung, with his competitive attitude, always challenged him to do better, and today was no exception.

At a crucial moment, Jisung made a risky move to steal the ball from Seungmin. Instead of passing it like he normally would, Seungmin, on impulse, decided to make a spectacular dribble to show everyone that he could be as good as Jisung. But as he tried to make the turn, his foot slipped on the wet grass. He lost control and accidentally pushed Jeongin, who was nearby, to try to avoid falling.

Jeongin, shocked, had no time to react. He was pushed back and, as he fell, his head hit the ground with a thud. Chaos broke out in seconds. Seungmin was paralyzed, looking at Jeongin lying on the ground, unconscious. Although the teachers and the ambulance quickly arrived, the damage was already done.

Jeongin suffered a severe concussion, and while it wasn't fatal, the consequences were serious. The guilt Seungmin felt was unbearable. He had been the cause of it all. If he hadn't tried to be more skilled than Jisung, if he hadn't wanted to prove something he wasn't, Jeongin would never have ended up in the hospital.
